"Bruticus?" Yes, Bruticus! As well as the final Combaticon to be revealed in order to form this Age of the Primes giant, Onslaught! Thanks to LordGigaIce in our forums, we've can finally see the Decepticon Scramble City leader who didn't need to have added junk packed into his trunk in order to make the magic happen! Check 'em out: Wow. Okay, so while you don't need the limb components for any of these guys to rise to giant size, it's clear that Bruticus is -- as many suspected -- doing his own thing here. As a result, Onslaught kinda looks like he's on those funky jumpy-stilts, doesn't he? If you're curious about the animation accuracy, forum member Sabrblade has provided some handy model sheets for on-the-fly comparison! And again, the cartoon model sheet: But that's not all! Also revealed today is the guy who changes sides as often as he changes heads -- or dimensions! He's already been released in the Age of the Primes line once (or has he?), but not in his Armada incarnation! Let's give it up for the bad boy of Unicron, Sideways! He even comes with his Mini-Cons! A surprisingly rare thing in this day and age! But, what do you think? Has your wallet turned on you after seeing these? Will collecting them all be your ruination (yeah, yeah, different guy, I know -- just be like Optimus and roll with it)? On November 18, 2025, Robosen Robotics released an official teaser for their next Transformers Flagship series robot, confirming it as Soundwave, the Decepticon communications specialist. The 16-second promotional video, shared across Robosen's social media channels including X and Instagram, features atmospheric synth music, radio static effects, and phrases like "Adjust your frequencies and tune in" and "The next generation Flagship is arriving soon." It culminates with a reveal date set for December 4, 2025. This follows an initial silhouette tease in Robosen's September 2025 Transformers Day marketing email. The Soundwave model is expected to continue the Flagship line's emphasis on app-controlled automation, with motorized transformation, voice interactions using archived G1 audio, and potential cassette deployment features, aligning with prior releases like Optimus Prime and Megatron. Pricing and pre-order details are anticipated post-reveal, likely in the $1,200–$1,700 range based on series precedents.

If you're a Dark of the Moon (DOTM) diehard craving more Bayverse bots beyond Hasbro's official lines, Blokees just delivered. Fresh in-hand photos surfaced today (November 18, 2025) showcasing their upcoming Classic Class (aka Champion Class) model kits for Megatron and Bumblebee—straight from the 2011 blockbuster. These aren't your average snap-together toys; they're poseable, light-up builds that capture the gritty, high-octane vibe of the films. The images (mirrored from Weibo user NOTRAB) show both bots fully assembled and posed dynamically—Megatron looming over Bumblebee for that epic rival energy. It's got that third-party charm: affordable, customizable (easy for weathering mods), and unapologetically movie-accurate.If you're building a Bayverse shelf, these could be the missing links. Who's grabbing both for a DOTM diorama? Drop your thoughts in the comments below. Allspark Forums Discord Server Twitter/X Facebook Page Bluesky Instagram Source: TFW2005

New images of G2 Swoop and Sludge from the Transformers: Age of the Primes Generations Selects line have surfaced. These redecos draw from the unreleased '90s G2 packaging art, featuring the toy head sculpt for Swoop and about 95% fidelity to the original concepts in both robot and dino modes. Minor omissions include comic-accurate swords and eye tampos, but the signature color schemes remain. For the first time, collectors can assemble a complete G2 Dinobot team.No details on release dates or pricing are available yet. UPDATE: Currently up for pre-order on Hasbro Pulse (LINK) with an expected ship date of June 1st 2026. Additional pictures added to the gallery. In anticipation of the final season of Stranger Things, a second collaboration with Transformers has been revealed. This new toy transforms from an 80's custom van decked out in WSQK deco into robot mode (named Freakwency), complete with an 8-Track Cassette that can store in the robot mode torso and converts into a bird partner named 8-Trax. Another accessory, possibly one of the strangest in Transformers brand history, is a rubber chicken that converts into a gun for the robot! See the gallery below for photos of the upcoming toy! During one of the more recent-ish Hasbro Pulse streams, I believe that someone from the Transformers team teased us with the possibility of doing releases of Transformers figures that resembled the prototypes shown off at toy shows. Or at least, I think they did. I can't find it, so we're not going to hold them to that. Not that we have to, because Hasbro has revealed that that's exactly what they're doing with the new "Transformers Spotlight" subline. The first release in the new subline is, of course, Optimus Prime. And not just any Optimus Prime, but the cheapest Optimus Prime currently available that they could get away with! Which makes sense, because you're getting not one, not two, not four, but three versions of the toy in one purchase! So it makes sense to start small with, say, something like the Studio Series Deluxe Class Transformers Devastation Optimus Prime than something like, I don't know, the Studio Series '86 Optimus Prime, which would cost something like $270 USD, probably. That said, they're starting with the Studio Series Deluxe Class Transformers Devastation Optimus Prime, and the 3-pack will cost you just ("just") $84.99 USD. What that gets you is the grey model version, based on the 3D render they used to create the sculpt; the "prototype" figure, which is "rendered in molded colors, represents the extensive testing our tools and molds go through to ensure the highest quality"; and of course, the fully-painted "final" version. (Put a pin in that, we'll come back to it in a moment.) Each figure also comes with three accessories that are "iconic" to the leader of the Autobots: The Matrix of Leadership, his trusty Energon Axe, and of course, his good ol' Ion Blaster. Now, you -- especially if you purchased the original release of this figure -- might have noticed some discrepancies between the "final" figure shown here and the one released at mass retail. If you don't have it, let me refresh your memory: As some have noted, the actual release of Studio Series Deluxe Class Transformers Devastation Optimus Prime is lacking in a few areas when compared to what is featured in the set. For one thing, there's a lack of paint apps compared to the Spotlight version, making the latter look closer to the video game than the one actually bearing its name (whose purview as a "Studio Series" figure, one would think, would be to come as close to the on-screen representation as possible). Meanwhile, if the purpose of "Spotlight" is to detail the steps from conception to release, it is kinda funny that the final release version in the box would not match what was actually the final release (though if you want to split hairs, then I guess this is technically the "final release," at least thus far). The other thing is that the Spotlight figures have three, count 'em, three Ion Cannons, whereas SSDCTFDOP came with zero. Zilch. Nada. Cybergoose egg. I guess on the bright side, this means you can finally equip your SSDCTFDOP with one of the three that come with this set, if you so choose. On the downside, that means buying three more of the figure you already have. Now, I'm not saying that there may not be good reasons for the discrepancies... but given the ostensible purpose of each line, it is kind of funny, if not ironic. Anyway, this set is a Hasbro Pulse exclusive, and you can find it (along with further details) right here. So, what do you think? Does this tickle your collector's fancy, or perhaps the artistic side of you that's always wanted to work in toys? From the NYCC Transformers Panel (pictures by TFW2005) as well as Screenrant, Hasbro has revealed the next set of Timelines figures, this time taking us back to Feudal-era Japan with samurai-themed versions of Starscream and Optimus Prime (see the gallery below). Optimus transformers into an ox-cart complete with robotic ox, while Starscream now converts into a robotic falcon. Samurai themed versions of Megatron and Bumblebee are said to be coming as well, but no pictures were yet available. Want to discuss these upcoming figures? Come do it HERE on the forums! Walmart has put up listings for two new Retro Series Deluxe toys, Wheelie and Outback. Like other Retro releases before them, each comes on a G1 minibot-styled bubble cardback and is painted in colors evoking their original 1980's releases. Outback, as expected, is a Brawn retool, but Wheelie is a brand new, never seen before mold. See the gallery below for pictures of these two new toys. Both will be available for order during Walmart's Collector Con starting Oct. 10th at 7am PST. Want to discuss these new toys? Come do it HERE on the forums! Not yet a member? Join today! It's that time once again, to celebrate raw, unbridled consumerism the greater franchise that we all know and love, by voting for our favorites to be entered into the Transformers 2025 Hall of Fame! This year, the voting process is somewhat... streamlined. That is, we've gone from four categories down to three. These are (drumroll, please): Age of the Primes Toy of the Year Studio Series Toy of the Year Exclusives Toy of the Year No clutter with categories such as "Fictional Characters" or "Humans", specifically of the real life variety. What have they ever done for this franchise? Nothing, I tell you! There's a reason Transformers fans hate humans, and that's why Hasbro has done us all the courtesy of removing them from any space that would needlessly occupy what really matters -- voting for which toy we like best! In a way, though, I suppose you could say that last year's fourth category, "Favorite of the Thirteen Primes," has been effectively folded into the "Age of the Primes Toy of the Year." Because, obviously. Though five of The Thirteen aren't on the ballot, but what can you do? Those wacky release schedules, am I right? Of course, there's no purchase necessary in order to vote -- only to have any idea of what you're talking about when you do! Good thing there's a decent chance you might not even see some of these ballot entries in person until 2026! But they'll be yesterday's news by then, so just try to take a hot guess at it in the meantime. So click here, vote early, and vote often! once! I don't know, just try your luck, I guess. Hey, wait a second! I only bought one Studio Series release this year, and it's not even on here! This vote is rigged! #JusticeForPerceptor #JusticeForRamhorn #JusticeForRatbat Ahem, right. Well, anyway, after you vote, feel free to tell us who you voted for below, or in the "Transformers Hall of Fame 2025" thread in our forums (where I learned about this, via Sabrblade)! Or don't! Your vote, your secret! Or maybe share why you decided to abstain! I know I would for this blatant cassette erasure, but unfortunately, I gotta rep my boy Heatwave, so I'm sure you can understand the bind I'm in. Oh, wait. They were under "Exclusives," not "Studio Series". Boy, is my face red! Um... Allspark Forums Discord Server Twitter/X Facebook Page Bluesky Instagram

The winner of the "Activate Your Alt Mode" Fan Vote has been decided, and the winner is going to SHOCK the world! That's right, it's the Shockmaster! Er, I mean, Shockwave! Here's legendary voice actor Frank Welker announcing the winner: Via Collider, Hasbro has presented us with a better look at the new alt mode for the classic Transformers villain: That's right -- it looks like you really are what you eat! As animalistic alt modes go, the whale is a rare one. The first instance to be recalled offhand is for the Maximal base Orcanoch in the Beast Wars portion of Hasbro's MicroVerse toy line, but seeing as that toy was never really given much time in fiction, one can question whether it counts as a character at all. (Even TFWiki uses both "it" and "he" to describe it, but most fiction seems to have it as a simple ship/base.) The other, perhaps more prominent instance was only in fiction, as Tidal Wave took it on as an alt mode in lieu of his usual Dark Fleet form in IDW's Sins of the Wreckers mini-series. Ironically, the original Armada Tidal Wave's name in the Japanese version, Micron Legend, was "Shockwave." So in a way, it's like coming full circle! But as for our favorite one-eyed, one-handed flying purple space gun, his connection to the animal is a bit more... grim. See, in Skybound's Transformers comics, he Perhaps this is his way of cutting out the middleman -- er, middle-machine -- from the process. After all, that does sound... logical. So, what do you think? After all these years of being a giant floating space gun ship/submarine-thing, does this refresh work for you? Tell us in the comments below, or sound off in the "Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline discussion || update: stock renders of upcoming Alpha Trion, Micronus, Flatline, Fireflight, Skydive, ++" thread in our forums, where the discussion seems to have found a home! "Don't worry, I'm always up to the tusk!" Markclonus has returned to Instagram with more Transformers behind-the-scenes fun, and this time, he's found himself in a hairy situation! Well, more like woolly. In fact, this could turn into a mammoth problem, if he's not careful. Right, right, pics. "I don't get it. They never find that Spider-guy's cameras when he takes pictures of himself in action. What am I doing wrong?" "Now, light our darkest display table! ...ooh, warm." "Some call them 'tonfa', others 'nightsticks'. Me? I like the name 'Biggy Clubs'." "Your move, creep!" "So, you're seriously telling me that we're the only two Convoys here?" "Do I look like I'm lion?" "This seemed much cooler when that little Canadian mustelid fellow did it." "Wow... you've really grown since the last time I saw you. Can I just--" "No." "Yeah, I thought not." "Crikey! We got a real beaut here! Just look at the teeth on this ol' girl! I can fit my entire fist in 'er mouth!" "I hate you so much right now." "You heard back from from your agent about the new Ice Age tryouts yet?" "No." "Me neither. Dammit..." "You're making entirely too big a deal out of this. It's just a little cleavage, it's not like my entire chest is out." "Give me a head... er, shoulders with hair. Long, beautiful hair..." or "Come with all you see here." "TT"? "Traveller's Tales?" Does this mean we're finally getting a "LEGO Transformers" video game?! Oh, he probably meant "Takara Tomy". Oh well. I'm used to having my dreams dashed, I'll just pour this one on the pile. Eight waves in and still surprising fans. Blokees pivots back to the regular scale with new official pics of wave 8 of the standard Galaxy Version series. "One Shall Fall: The Final Clash Returns" (how final is final) brings a new wave of blind-boxed 5.5" kits features Optimus Prime, Hot Rod, Blitzwing, a T30-looking Metroplex, Sludge, dino mode Sludge, "Sharkticon", and Shrapnel -- and the original 86 Grand Mal, Unicron's Head (with little Autobot shuttle)! This series' hidden figure (1/36) is the half-dead Semi-Sleeping Optimus Prime, which may be the most relatable Optimus Prime has been in a while. A look at the order page on the Blokees website makes clear the neat accessories these figures come with in addition to their usual sidearms (which are also featured in these promo shots): Shrapnel includes a wee insect-mode Bombshell, Metroplex has a tiny Optimus Prime whose call he can heed, Hot Rod includes Fishing Rod so he can go fish for a whopper (and catch a teeny Sharkticon instead), and dino Sludge has his pop-out eyes so your Devastator (however you got the parts) can reenact the movie. Also of interest is some innovation in the pieces and articulation. On the website, Hot Rod is used as the demo piece to show off new articulation (new ab crunch joint, drop-down hips, side to side waist bends, thigh swivels, double-joint knees), and the official Blokees Twitter/X account has shared a video showing off the new articulation as demonstrated by the Optimus Prime figure. Are you excited to complete your Dinobots display, or update your Optimus, or go fishing with Hot Rod? Allspark Forums Discord Server Twitter/X Facebook Page Bluesky Instagram
