From reliable leaker Nune over at TFW comes the first look at stock images / packaging for Studio Series Titan Class Grimlock. This figure converts from robot mode to a tyrannosaurus mode large enough for Studio Series Optimus Prime to ride into battle in 59 steps. Want to discuss this king-sized news? Somehow Premium Finish returned. TakaraTomy has tweeted a promotional image of Dramatic Capture Series Optimus Prime and Jetfire, revealing all modes of the included toys and their accessories. The set includes Studio Series Optimus Prime and Jetfire, with a luxurious (if incomplete) paint job. Prime notably includes one blaster and both swords, whereas previous releases have included either the blaster or the swords. However, the silver forearms of Studio Series Optimus Prime remain uncorrected. You can't have it all. But if you want to have this, you can snag a pre-order starting March 6. This set is a notable change of pace for Dramatic Capture Series, which up until now has focused on the G1 cartoon, making its trajectory an intriguing reversal of Studio Series. Could this be a one-off, or are Movie toys about to dramatically capture the Dramatic Capture Series? Join the Allspark today.
We've heard speculation. We've heard rumors. We've heard hints. Now, we see. TFW2005 member Nune, who we will remember from last month's big leak, has revealed stock images of Generations Selects Monstructor, a gift set comprised of a quite extensive remold of Transformers Legacy United Dinoking, itself a remold of Legacy United Volcanicus. The Monster Pretenders here have brand new alt modes that are... quite fitting for the characters at least. The originals are roughly the size of Micromasters and no more complicated than that. I for one find that the goofy charm of the original is quite well preserved. Now excuse me while I press F5 until Hasbro makes the official announcement and preorders begin. Join the Allspark today.
From Joshua Reese on Transformers Botposting on Facebook, we have our first look at Season 2 Transformers Cyberworld figures. The photos feature both toys present at NY Toy Fair as well as some renders. The toys feature some returning characters as well as some new to the toyline. All include translucent sections representing an Energon Surge as the theme of the line. See the gallery below for a first look at these upcoming toys! Want to talk about these upcoming figures? From Nune at TFW2005, we have our first look at Wave 2 of Studio Series '86 figures. Featured in this wave are: Kranix, the Lithonian who famously slipped away from Unicron only to be devoured by Sharkticons on Quintessa: He converts from Lithonian Scientist to the spaceship mode previously only seen in the Marvel comics. Astrotrain, a brand new take on the character that converts between robot, space shuttle and train mode. It has yet to be revealed if Studio Series Devastator can be assembled inside of him in shuttle mode. Shockwave, which appears to be a remold of the previous Siege version of the character without the additional armor/parts. Skywarp, adding to the SS'86 Seeker group And finally Sunstreaker and Wheeljack who appear to be rereleases of the Earthrise versions of the molds. Multiple new listings from Amazon Japan have revealed official pictures of multiple upcoming releases. First of all is The King! Anime-style Missing Link Grimlock in glorious cartoon colors: Next up is Transformers Overgear Ironhide and Blackout. This is our first good look at the upcoming figures and what this line represents with realistic alt-modes and oodles of accessories: Finally, we have Evangelion Prime Unit-01. A retool / repaint of the 2018 Optimus Prime mold with colors and accessories referencing the EVA-01 unit from the anime. Want to join the discussion on these upcoming figures? Bits and pieces have been coming out about since last year, but now Takara (by way of their "T-Spark" YouTube channel) has dropped a new trailer on us to get a better look at what this new breed of Transformers is all about. From the description: Here's the video, and fortunately, there are English captions to help us follow along: While the designs seem to fall between the complexities of the Michael Bay movie style and the "that actually looks like a face" aesthetic of most other incarnations of the series, this showcase with Ironhide and Blackout definitely seems to be going for a more "real" approach, right down to the weapons they're carrying. No space-lasers, energo-swords, or fantastic powers here -- just lots of hot lead, and maybe a knife or two. Oh, and as little color as possible. Incidentally, little clue as to what "Overgear" means in the context of the story, unless that's the term for breaking out all of those big guns and stuff. For those interested in learning more, it appears that the T-Spark crew will be showing a "pre-recorded streaming and visitors display event" video on Friday, February 13th at 8pm JST: As you can see from the thumbnail, it looks like one of the topics may be discussion of Overgear, among other things. Thanks to PrimalxConvoy for the tips! So, what do you think? Is it a little too "real" for you, or is this just the shake-up the brand needs as we look to the future? Feel free to discuss it here, as well as in the "Japanese Transformers News" thread in our forums! Allspark Forums Discord Server Twitter/X Facebook Page Bluesky Instagram
It's 'behind the scenes' season again. This time Mark Maher has offered a look at the long awaited Liege Maximo. This behemoth has haunted our imaginations since the infamous cliffhanger ending of Marvel's Generation 2, and now he is finally (almost) here. Source:Instagram Join the Allspark today.

Earlier this weekend, some images got out for the upcoming releases of both Leige Maximo and Nexus Prime. However, it appeared that Nexus Prime's reveal told only part of the story. About one-fifth, one might even say. You see, each Prime kinda has a thing, and Nexus Prime's thing is the Enigma of Combination -- he's the guy from which all other Combiners are derived. So then, where is this guy's combination? The answer, as we've just discovered, lies in a teaser (complete with John Williams' Superman theme) on the Instagram page of one Markclonus, professional toy designer for Hasbro and the guy who has given us so many behind-the-scenes previews over the last while. But rather than regale us with a variety of fancy poses and anecdotes, this time Mark has taken it to video: https://www.instagram.com/p/DUOa17xD9xC And if that doesn't embed properly for you and/or you lack the Instagram credentials necessary to view it, then behind the spoiler tag is a look at the final frame of the video, showing the god of gestalts in all his glory. As you can see, this Nexus Prime is a true mish-mash of Combiner components: In addition to NP himself showing off his combined mode cranium, there's the Superion Combiner frame, I believe with Air Raid as one of the legs, then Brawl from Bruticus as the other leg, while Blast-Off and Vortex are up in arms -- literally, with the latter borrowing a bit more Superion frame. Incidentally, people in the comments on the Instagram post are... a little displeased at this turn of events. Between wanting Nexus Prime to have his own dedicated group of limbs as he did in his debut appearance as part of the Transformers Collector's Club all those years ago, or simply not wanting to have to buy parts from other teams they have no interest in to make this combination a little less enigmatic, or just not wanting to have to dismantle their displays to present this Prime in all of his merged majesty, it seems many are simply left wanting more. But what do you think? Are you happy to have someone to pinch-hit while one of your team leaders is in the shop? Or do you think that the progenitor Prime of the Combiners shouldn't have to settle for hand-me-downs? The Day of Reckoning has arrived! TFW's Nune has posted the first images of Age of the Primes Leader Class Liege Maximo and Voyager Nexus Prime. Both photos only show the robot modes. Liege Maximo is a page right out of the orginal G2 comics, while Nexus Prime resembles a middle-ground between his original Energon-redeco version and the version shown in Transformers: One. See the images below: UPDATE: Alt modes images added Want to discuss these reveals? Talk about them HERE on our Age of the Pimes Thread on the forums! Not yet a member? Join today! As the Target exclusive Anniversary line continues to unfold, we get yet another look at one of the most anticipated figures of the line: Megatron as he was damaged in his final battle before claiming the life of Autobot leader Optimus Prime, with many not yet having a go-to Megatron in their collection, this comes as a perfect opportunity as a centerpiece to celebrate the 1986 all those many years ago. Notable differences from the retail release is the change in the head and chest areas for aptly battle damaged crumpled pieces as well as paint corresponding to said areas, as with recent releases, you can expect limited quantities through Hasbro Pulse as well as the Target website. Are you ready to let the slaughter begin? Tell us on our forums and other socials, and remember, it's AllSpark of the show.
Last week, we brought you a rumor that McDonald's was dusting off and reviving one of their most beloved Happy Meal toy concepts of all-time: The Changeables. This week, we're bringing you the confirmation: Don't know what a "Changeable" is? Don't worry, this Dinosaur Dracula article has got you covered. Hey, even with the skyrocketing cost of fast food these days, these are still more affordable than anything Hasbro is putting out, right? But better than a teaser, Donocropolis has shared a variety of images from McDonald's own social media to our forums showing off each Changeable, what they turn into, a catchphrase, and a fun fact about them. Hey, remember when Hasbro used to give us that kind of stuff on the box, or at least a website? Man, McDonald's is killing Hasbro with these, and they aren't even out yet. Anyway, the pics: Gotta say, these will probably look great alongside a collection of BotBots. Just a shame they didn't make one of the restaurant itself. Okay, granted, then it would just turn into a grey box, but maybe they could do a vintage-style restaurant like the Lil McDonald's collection did? Just a thought. And make it in Titan scale. Anyway, these will be available in US stores on January 27th, but which ones go to which other countries is anyone's guess, because they like to screw with us like that now, I guess. (Nothing for Canada so far... sigh.) Feel free to talk about these, or just the good times and great tastes you remember from your youth over in the "McDonalds Changeables Return!" thread in our forums! Supposedly leaked pictures from internal McDonalds communications revealed that they are bringing back Changeables in Happy Meals at the end of this month! For any too young to remember, these are small transforming figures that change from McDonalds food items into robots (in the original releases) or dinosaurs (from the later series). Both types are represented in the new figures. which also bring in items that are not strictly foods, such as an ordering kiosk, deep fryer. etc. See the image below for the full reveal! From various ebay auctions we have our first look at what appears to be the leaked "Transformers "Kick" Crossover" figure, an Optimus Prime (sans faceplate) that converts into a US Major League Soccer branded soccer ball (or "foosball" for our non-US based members). The figure comes with a stand for ball mode as well as his own in-scale ball. See the gallery below for more photos from the various auctions: Want to kick these ideas around a little? It's 2026, and Takara Tomy woke up and said LFG. In a slew of their usual darkened monochromatic announcement teases, they've kicked off the year in style! First, the Missing Link series gets a fitting infusion of dinosaur strength as Grimlock is teased for the lineup. Next, a "New Product Series" that seems to have the title "Transformers New Legends", with a Lio Convoy/Leo Prime as the darkened main picture. Hmm. The Masterpiece Movie series continues with Sideswipe and... Sideswipe, maybe, as two images of the Bayverse's skating-slicing Stingray make up the image. Also shown are a Studio Series Seeker using the new Thundercracker-debuting mold, and Japanese releases of the newest AOTP and Timeline (as a T-Spark Zone exclusive) figures. Finally, it looks like Studio Series isn't the only thing gearing up for a capsule to celebrate the 1986 movie's 40th anniversary (well, depending on the actual release date for this...). In any case, the MPG line gets Hot Rod(imus?) as its next reveal, and it feels like it's been a long time coming after his last Masterpiece take in 2016. how long ago was... oh god Official pictures should be up soon, as they customarily are after these announcements! Whether or not it's "our" year, it certainly looks like it won't be our wallets'! Allspark Forums Discord Server Twitter/X Facebook Page Bluesky Instagram
From Hasbro's very own Nate Puswell's Instagram, we have our first official pictures of Age of the Primes Swindle. This Voyager class toy transforms from a Legally-Distinct-from-a-Jeep to a Those-Charges-Have-Not-Yet-Been-Proven wheeler-dealer of a Robot! Helping to fill out his Voyager box (not that we would ever imply that Swindle was holding back on you, his good and close friend and business associate) is a blaster for Bruticus that can transform into a shoulder mounted gun for Swindle's robot mode or tow-behind artillery gun for vehicle mode. From Youtube, the reveal video of Robosen G1 Flagship Soundwave has ejected! Similar to the previous Robosen figures, Soundwave automatically converts from his tape deck mode to robot mode with voice-command speech recognition, preprogrammed movements, sound clips, lights, and all the bells and whistles that one would expect from a Robosen figure. Soundwave even features voice recording and playback using the actual tapedeck control buttons. Watch the video below for all the details. As seen in the video, Soundwave's tape deck opens to accept cassette minions. Based on the video, it looks like it is sized for the Masterpiece-style minions. Though, hilariously, it appears that whoever made the video doesn't the difference between Ratbat and Mindwipe: Want to discuss this new reveal? Do it HERE on the Robosen thread on the forums.
