So, the Iowa Children's Museum had their annual Dig it! Move it! event, where kids can learn about and jump in the seats of various big trucks, emergency vehicles, and equipment (and a hot air balloon, but that's not relevant to this post). Among the pieces of equipment there was this well-drilling machine:
So, little Haywire 3 hops up in the driver's seat proud as can be...
...and then I notice the emblem on the side. "Hey, it's a Transformer!" I say.
"No, it's not Daddy, stop joking," H3 says.
"Look," I say, pointing at the emblem, "it's not just a Transformer, it's a Decepticon!"
His eyes got kind of big, and then he got off of it real fast...
Now, I kind of wish they had made a Transformer like this...
