Which led to the death of the newspaper owner, as they took the devices she could have used to get assistance when she collapsed(on top of the stress from the raid):

The stupid part is THEY WEREN'T EVEN GOING TO PUBLISH ANYTHING ABOUT IT, the newspaper was acting responsibly and following up on the information to make sure it wasn't from a poisoned source. And now the whole nation is looking. I'm not sure how an attempted coverup and silencing could possibly backfired any worse.

It could have backfired worse if we lived in a country where there's any chance they will face real consequences for this. As it is, they'll probably get a commendation for successfully sending a message to the public that this is what happens to well-meaning independent journalists in Trump's America.

That's even worse. Small towns are like 90% people with Trump flags and I BACK THE BLUE signs.

Cops had been called earlier in the evening to provide a safe escort home for the autistic girl.

“This is what police do when dealing with autistic children,” the girl’s mom wrote in the first in a series of captions on the video.

“My daughter told me the police officer looked like her nana, who is a lesbian. The officer took it the wrong way and said it was a homophobic comment (it wasn’t). The officer then entered my home,” the girl’s mother said.

“My daughter was having panic attacks from being touched by them and they still continued to manhandle her,” she continued.

Her daughter also suffers from scoliosis, the mom said, which she told the officers as they dragged her from her home.
