As of June 2018, the toy retailer giant Toys “R” Us shut its doors for the last time. Now, in an interesting piece of “What If” news. The fastcompany website is reporting on the proposed Toys “R” Us rebranding and redesign plan that could have saved them, but sadly never came to be.

With the death of Toys ‘R’ Us its varied exclusives have been left adrift, with the exclusive Titans Return Grotusque (plus Fengul and Scorponok) among them. Thanks to a sighting in Columbus, Ohio from the Facebook group Cybertron Cafe, it has been confirmed that Grotusque is showing up at U.S. brick and mortar retail after previously only being available online.

Toys R Us has found a buyer for its Canadian arm, per BWTF.com’s report on a release by Bloomberg. After MGA Entertainment’s failed bid to purchase the 80-plus Canadian stores along with 200 of the better-performing US locations, Toys R Us seems to have found a better deal with Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd.
