More about “Transformers Legacy” Red Cog and weapons!
Transformers Senior Model Artist Mark Maher (@markclonus) took to Instagram recently to get more information out there about the recently-revealed upcoming “Security Officer” Red Cog and his weapons pack — which will include Elita-1’s rifle, Ratchet’s repair beam, and sticky bombs from the Netflix WFC: Siege cartoon!
More info on the Deluxe Red Cog Security Officer weapons pack! Please go ahead and swipe through all the pics and I will do my best to explain all these cool weapons in the pack!
First up is Ratchet’s medical repair weapon that was used on a damaged Impactor shown here, I tried to recreate the drama. I tried to make the deco spot on to the Netflix WFC show, even got the two tone metal on there!
The sticky time bombs shown in this series were used by a couple different bots, I believe this is Elita’s hand shown here. These bombs have been used in TF prime animation by Wheeljack so I thought it was essential to actually have these in your toy arsenal. Not only does this sport accurate deco, this sticky bomb splits apart and gives you the ability to post it on 5mm posts across our beloved toy line.
Hasui san and I really worked hard on this pack and his ideas and influence really helped this pack come together. We thought the weapon modular capability was the real essential element to keep across all the weapons. So not only would you be able to make Elita’s blaster rifle, you will also be able to make a new weapon with the customizable barrels on the 5mm inserts. This really opens up the capability here to create and customize certain weapons to take on certain types of missions.
The tribarrel shotgun was suggested by Hasui san and once he sent it over my eyes lit up. This is a homage to the streetwise combiner wars deluxe weapon which really gives you the sense that all the security officers definitely talk and brag about there arsenal. Just to give it that lil matt black overspray really shows the firepower that this weapons upgrade can give!
Hope yall dig!
