There's only so many ways to make cocoa before it gets samey.

All of four people are listening to it!

These sitting poses hurt me.

Five people!

One of Cherie's recipes went well? This guru might be legit.

Six people!

Lots of butter? I'm in.

You don't even know ten people. How can you not recognize this voice?

WHY is it so important to talk to Perla about this right now?

Why would you bust her live on air? Maybe she wants to be anonymous.

I don't know what I'm doing either. All of my plans are in ruins so I'm just winging it through life now.

Meh. More positivity is the last thing this town needs.

A Pearla-emergency! What, did Cocoa's cocoa machine gain sentience or something?

Maybe you should bring Tilly along. She's useful if you need to smash something.

Tilly's trying to be positive today! That's nice. I mean, you could still be positive and help. But, it might be easier to stay positive, if you don't get sucked into the hijinks, I suppose.

Tilly's order is so boring it made Cocoa depressed.

Pearla has a podcast? Of course she does.

"There's nothing else to listen to! Know one else knows how this dark sorcery works!"

Seeing these horses with headphones is equal parts cute and wrong.

...Did Tilly really NEED to be inspired to train for a triathlon? It kind of seems like her kind of thing. Her kind of thing that no one else even bothers to compete in.

Every week? How long has this podcast been going on for?

Peach Macarons! That's...pretty basic? I'm guess I'm glad that Pearla can inspire such..."humble" goals? At least they're easily achievable.

Positivity Popcorn! She charges three times more for it than regular popcorn! She's POSITIVE she's gonna turn a profit!

Pearla's podcast seems to be making everyone pretty snacky.

Squash exists in the Wild Manes universe. I don't know why that surprises me, but it does a little. What kind of triathlon includes squash, though?

Wait...she didn't recognize it was Pearla? But, she only knows like half a dozen horses! How could she not recognize the voice?!

Has Pearla been broadcasting for hours straight? I don't know how some people have the energy for that.

Okay. She got there. It took longer than it should have, but she figured it out.

This is a VERY low stakes episode.

I don't know why Pearla thinks she's bad at this. Did no one call in? Did she forget to give people her number so that they could call in? Maybe her viewership numbers are low, but that's just because there's only 10 horses in town.

So, she HAS been doing this live this whole time. I guess she is bad at this. She doesn't even know she can record a episode and schedule it to be released later. I think the people who made this episode think podcasting works like radio?

But, why was she been moving her trailer all over town, if she was just inside broadcasting this whole time? Does she think she needs to get a better "signal"?

"The world doesn't need TWO podcasts. That'd be crazy!"

...NO ONE recognized the voice?! *SIGH* These be some dumb horses.

Wow. Interviewing someone they talk to every day. Ratings gold, right there.

Cocoa's spilling all the hot cocoa about her friends live on air! Unfortunately, viewership numbers on this episode were even lower than normal. After all, Cocoa wasn't listening in, so Pearla was down 20% of her viewers.

They're arguing. This might be a good one.

Confirmed: Cocoa's fourth wall breaks take place outside time.

The puns are getting painful.

Ear go boing.

Finley has grown.

Trusting Cocoa seems dangerous at this point.

... Is that the horrible Olympics breakdancing thing? I never did see that video. I only saw a few still images.

A talent show doesn't seem like the place to try something you've never done before, but I don't know. I've never been to one.

It feels like we got caught up very quickly. I guess not much is really happening.

That's a much better landing than I expected. Cocoa is part cat, apparently.

Now she lands on her back.

I was expecting that orb to break.

Nothing bothers Perla, apparently.

There are more horses participating in this talent show than watching it. What is the point?

Finley has not discovered her talent.

Meh.

"What's the point of having any choreography?" What's the point of any of this, Bridgette? No one's watching but you guys.

EXTREME awkwardness! Finley on a skateboard...well, it was nice knowing them.

Cocoa can stop time. Why am I not surprised? NOTHING can stop her from telling us how this happened, not even the laws of time themselves!

"What would Perla do?" Probably start a robot uprising.

A talent show. I guess they all have their one thing. It could be a fair enough show.

Tilly will PUNCH these lights into submission!

Putting Finley in charge of the balloons. What could possibly go wrong? I mean, we already know, but I guess it'll be interesting how this leads to a skateboard pileup.

Finley's indecision CAN be a good thing, sometimes. Nice!

One cocoa cart for the WHOLE town? Is that really going to be enough? Just kidding, I know there's only like 10 horses in this town.

Cocoa really waited until the last minute to perfect this new cocoa. Gotta admit though, it looks pretty tasty.

Would calling it "The Perla" be kind of creepy or touching? And wouldn't those huge pearls just mess up the whipped cream?

Is Tilly really lecturing Brigette about dancing? Tilly, she's wearing a tutu right now! Dancing is HER thing! Let her have this one. She doesn't have enough personality traits as is, you don't need to go stealing one of the few she's got.

...I DO appreciate Tilly's little hops, though.

I mean...maybe one of them could find a remix of the song online? They all have phones, after all.

Hmm...Perla would...replace them both with robots? Is that were this is going?

Tilly's feeling "artistic" today.

"I don't know what to do!" So, everything's normal with Finley then. Good.

Wow, that's really sweet advice, Cocoa. It's the wrong advice, but oh well. Her heart's in the right place. Too bad her brain's two towns over.

Lesson learned. Don't let Finley try new things.

*Finley facing away from the camera* The animators know what they did.

And so they fixed it by...just fixing it, I guess? Not much of a moral, but that's the power of the offscreen. Any problem can be fixed if you offscreen it long enough!

...How do you eat that without a spoon?

Cocoa's got a crush! I mean, so does the rest of the town, but still. Perla is the most attractive of all the horses...I guess?

I like her song. I could dance to it. Not well, but when has that ever stopped me?

Sorry guys I was busy earlier today.

The little bit of episode was not bad.

Song is kinda almost there I feel. With some work it'd be perfectly passable.

I need this show right now. Let's do this.

Music video episode.

Squee. Do kids really say it like that these days?

I do not like this corporate music.

Zoom out. Viewers have no sense of scale on how big this wave is.

Are you asking Candi to give away trade secrets?

What were the odds of having your one customer of the day at this exact moment?

I don't trust YouTubers with excessive high quality green screen usage. I use scripts to block them on sight.

Silly horse is going to try to learn a skill from another silly horse who doesn't know anything about it. This will end well. Have we really never seen Cocoa surfing though?

It's going well.

Ear go boing! 10/10.

Candi Corn. The writers must spend so much time coming up with these nicknames.

Bailey is low key the smartest horse on this show. She saw right through this. She also knows nothing matters in this town.

This music isn't badly produced. It's just overly produced.

Lame paddling animation. Come on, animators. Give us some proper horsey paddling with their silly noodle limbs. It's why I'm here.

For a music video episode, really not bad.

Well...I hate to say it guys...but this is it. This is episode 40. This could well be...the final episode of Wild Manes. (Unless they ordered more episodes and never told us. Or if that one guy on Equestria Daily is right and there's a half-hour special coming.)

WILL Perla stop the rise of Mecha-Perla and prevent the robotization of the beach? WILL Candi reconcile with her evil twin Kornn? Will Bridget's dancing be enough to stop the war between the swans and nutcrackers? WILL Bailey be able to surf her way back to her homeland on the Moon? WILL Cherie win the multiversal cake competition? WILL Dreamer go through with her bargain with the Dream Gods to free the town from the endless time loop the town is stuck in? WILL Cocoa succeed in uniting all 7 Legendary Ingredients to make the Deus Ex Macchiato? WILL Tilly be able to beat Death itself, in a one on one game of Cheese Rolling? WILL Finley finally be able to choose...chocolate cake or cherry pie?

All this and more...probably not happening in this final episode of...Wild Manes!

It's a music video episode. Kind of fitting, if this be the end, honestly.

These horses were not meant to surf. This looks strange and wrong.

Well, anyone can surf if you use a green-screen, I guess.

Who's holding her phone in order to take that video?

OOOH, Bailey's inviting Candi over! I didn't think this was that kind of show! Is there enough room at the surf shack for two people?

Finley, you can clearly see she's talking with the others. It's a clear day on the beach. Why didn't you just go over there? You know she doesn't usually have any employees.

Candi...faked her surfing video. Oh...Bailey's gonna be MAD. Bailey has TWO THINGS she doesn't mess around with. Surfing...and nachos! And she's ALL out of nachos!

Wait...these horses know about space?! They have some sort of space program?! Well, that explains where everyone is! They're actually a galactic spacefaring race spanning multiple planets!

...You could just show her the rest of the video. It's not you're fault she's got the attention span of a goldfish.

"That's just as BAAAAD!" Okay, that's some interesting new animation, right there, for the face. And a almost Rarity-level of whining...well done!

Surfing is easier than the truth. The truth can't get you, if you're on the water, everyone knows that.

They all live by the beach, but none of them know how to surf. Even though, I'm pretty sure we've all seen them surf in other episodes. These horses are just lazy...and forgetful.

No...not the pouty face! The cuteness, man! I can't handle the CUTENESS!

"Let's turn me into a sea horse!" Well, first you have to learn the song. Repeat after me: "Shoo be doo..."

"Show me your form" This isn't even my FINAL FORM!

Rookie mistake. Clearly, the fin needs to be in FRONT of you.

It's actually kind of impressive that Candi could keep her balance on the barrel for as long as she did.

DO A BARREL ROLL!

And then the barrel explodes.

"Sidewalk surfing"..literally. Heh. Okay, that's kind of a good one.

"Whaaaaat's happening?" Don't ask Cocoa, she'll make you sit through a whole 5 minute spiel.

The good new is, since Candi fell into the fountain, she gets to make a wish!

No, not the truth! Anything but that! There's ALWAYS another option!

Heh...Hahahaha! Bailey KNEW it was special effects the whole time! That's actually great! Bailey's no idiot!

But...where did Bailey get all that equipment? What is she filming in secret?

"Nuthin'" Denial is the best course of action here, yes.

It's a good thing Candi never has any customers at her theme park. It'd be really inconvenient to have to shut things down for the day to film.

Cocoa totally deserves a Emmy for that acting.

Horse France and Horse Egypt confirmed. I guess this is some sort of post-apocalyptic Earth?

And there they go...paddling off into the sunset. *Snff* I'm going to miss seeing these horses totally uneventful lives. Their boring nothing days made my days seem action-packed by comparison. May their days be filled with many more random time-killing shenanigans, while they stand around waiting for customers who never come.

*SNFF*...the Manes...really were Wild...
