The Wreckers didn’t have skeleton robots but that didn’t stop them.

I still think that a G1 Knockout, retooled from Tow-Line, would have been a FAR more interesting choice than Breakdown, even if he didn’t have the Mayhem attachment.Good, I wasn't just misremembering. I also didn't remember how long ago that leak was.
Breakdown and that mold are an odd combo. I mean, I don't know what recent toys would be better for Breakdown, but if Breakdown wasn't their first choice, I can see it.
I'm realizing now that the most Bulkhead part of that mold is really the truck cab, which is more or less Bulkhead's face (with much bigger eyes). This paint job highlights it by picking out that bumper as Bulkhead's jaw.
I kept getting confused by how Windsweeper (and friends)/Breakdown is referred to as a 2-pack while the Insecticons and Malleus whatever are a 3-pack. You'd think they'd hype up that there are four TFs in that first set.
But then I remembered that Needlenose and partners was one Deluxe class pack, so that's probably why.
The two targetmasyers are more figurines than figures. They're basically tiny statues.
It’s possible he might get a re-release later on like the Velocitron stuff is.I like the deluxe insecticons but only as a complete set and not enough to either buy the ransack multipack or track one down at this point.
I wasn't making a judgment, I was trying to explain why they were likely not considered to be extra figures and make the two pack a four pack, as lastmaximal asked.Which they've always been, even in G1. Its about the only way to get them made and keep the budget.
But it's a pain to order from them.Nonnef was apparently ready and waiting for Windsweeper:

He does not. Chopshop has actual legs instead of the ski things Shrapnel has at least.I don't know. I wanted new Deluxe Insecticons for a long time but these aren't doing it for me. The originals pulled off some nice tricks with the insect legs, which remains notable to this day because so few bug bots do anything with the legs. These are haphazard retools. Does barrage even have six legs?
I've got the original Fans Project versions, which are great (Although one of the team is missing). He does not. Chopshop has actual legs instead of the ski things Shrapnel has at least.
Either way, probably the best we’re going to get given their almost zero fictional relevance and possible rights issues with their original looks.
