He does look pretty darn good. This is the first Commander Class figure that I'll be holding off on buying, but I like that it exists, and am happy for those who are eagerly anticipating his release.

Looking closely at his tail, it kinda looks like the tail just hangs down sagging behind his waist where the original figure's tail rotated upside-down and plugged into his backside to keep it in place and prevent any and all sag.

wonko the sane?

You may test that assumption at your convinience.

This is what I mean:

The underside of the tail is sagging below the crotch space. In these two pics:

On the original toy, that would only happen if the tail wasn't turned upside-down and plugged in properly. When done so, that made sagging impossible and kept the tail's connection to the body above the crotch behind the waist. Here, it looks as though they were working off the original toy with the tail not fully transformed correctly.

He is certainly impressive, but I think I will be passing on this one.

Eh, I think him not needing the tail to stand up properly and being a weird third leg is an improvement tbh.

I had the Korean version of him for awhile but sold him off a couple of years ago. I kinda want this.....but I also dont care about the character even though he looks fantastic.

The original never needed the tail to stand up.
If it stands completely straight the tail doesn't quite reach the surface it's standing on.

I know it doesn't literally need it but the effect is to look like it does, and it looks jive.

My old RTS Wheeljack is getting along in the years but I haven't liked most of the modern ones, this one, though, for sheer weirdness, will be like Origins Jazz and be 'my' version! I do plan to give him a better gun, though, so he can keep the launcher on his shoulder. I have one single missile from an old Action Master Wheeljack, I may use that.

The new 'TARDIS class' is shaping up better than I expected. Next releases, I will want a Huffer that is a proper minibot size but can be driven by Hoist, a Ratchet Ironhide can lay down in, and an Astrotrain toy I can store every Decepticon I own inside despite being only a foot long.
