The colors look better in these new pictures. It looks like Takara is using weird lighting in their stock photos again.
I wonder if there will be an upgrade kit that makes the rear legs a bit beefier and adds a "Battlecat/Catilla" styled helmet, amongst lots of extra gumf no one wants for the bargain price of 45 dollars?

It appears the hind legs are so scrawny because they have to transform on to the top of his chest. I doubt it.
They're bird legs. They look fine to me.
The BW toy and the show model also had bird legs but weren’t this comically tiny. It’s not just that they’re thinner, they’re also shorter than they used to be. It’s definitely a compromise for the robot mode proportions. it doesn’t help that the front legs are even beefier and longer than the model or old toy and the resulting beast mode emphasizes the difference between the limbs even more.

Got to thinking, as long as they're doing Beast Wars, I'd love a show-accurate TransMetal Rattrap. Backpack that flips, detachable wheel-shields, and his gun. Bonus if he gets his bombs, too.

A new TM Megatron would be cool. And I suppose a new TM Cheetor would be nice, but honestly, the original toy was pretty cool, and it's gonna be hard to improve on that.
TM Megs is also on my shortlist of TM wants, since his original toy suffers a rare offshoot of GPS; but also means we need a TM Primal as you know people are gonna want both leaders.

If you can find the Takara version, it's GPS-free last I heard. That was my solution but I don't know how common they are these days.

TM Cheator can be improved upon, thou I also would love to see his TM2 given a modern update as long they are in scale with the kingdom/legacy releases, even old TM1 Megatron could do with a few improvements along with TM1 Primal
