I sincerely hope not. Like, i can see why that might be the case, and it makes sense, but regular retail only please, that's hard enough to keep up with.

We can only hope. That would appeal to me so much more than the lanky Masterpiece.

The TR one comes so close. I want a chonky PMOP.

I could see them doing a Titan class God Ginrai at the same height and price of Star Optimus Prime. Maybe even a little smaller if Star OP's Armada Unicron-esque height is deemed too big.

But for now, I'm happy with both my Legends God Ginrai w/ leg stabilizers and my Primitive Skateboarding Optimus Prime.

I have Legends God Ginrai, with leg stabilizers. And the PE kits for a transforming Ginrai. He looks pretty nice and has a spot in my main display case. However, he's still horribly unstable and badly in need of an update, IMO.

I actually really like his size. Victory shows him being the same size as, or slightly shorter than, Star Saber. Having him the same size as Victory Saber works really well, though. If anything, he feels a little undersized compared to anyone other than Star Saber, though not by enough to be a problem.

I think keeping an AotP God Ginrai at the same size as Victory Saber should be a good fit for Titan class. The engineering, complexity, and parts count for God Ginrai would have to go way beyond Star Convoy, so there's no way he would be the same size at the same price point.

Outside of doing him as a Titan or HasLab, I'm a little skeptical of how he would turn out. I think they could manage a good Super Ginrai as a Commander. It's God Bomber that worries me. Doing him as a Leader didn't work out real great the last time around, and I think it would be even harder to get a solid release at his size out of a modern Leader. And yet, he would be very underwhelming as a Commander. I think you almost have to have them together as a single set to have it work out well. That pretty much leaves Titan or HasLab as the only options.

I think a Leader figure for Godbomber could be solid. Just needs better execution than last time, which can be more likely if he's designed at the same time as the Super Ginrai base figure.

Could do it at the new Titan class. Core robot, trailer and Godbomber in one package. It’s comparable to the Star Convoy set in mass, maybe not complexity but they might be able to compromise enough to squeeze him in.

I know we're on a tangent in the legacy thread, so I'll keep it short - I saw pics on discord. They look good! I also reached out to the company. I didn't realize they were shipping from Ontario, so I'll be a little more patient.

Yeah, even on non-holidays it usually takes about 2 weeks or so for them to get to me.

The original couldn't fold it's truck bed all the way up against the back of the cab, either. It only folded up at a diagonal rather than fully 90° vertical like the PMOP cab did.
Hm, yeah, but still more than Legacy G1 seems to be able to do.

Yeah the legs of Legacy G1 Prime fold up almost like g1 but there a tad shorter but you know who does work?

On the subject of parts storage, no real pic as it doesn't add much but if you plug the silver double-gun into Kakuryu's back barrels down, then plug the head/chestplate thing into THAT, it gives good storage for both, the two hands can hold the rifle and axe without looking totally encumbered now, AND it helps it sit on the Triceratops I gave it more stably.

I really appreciate this increasing trend from Hasbro -- while sure, it smacks faintly of "let's save a bit on producing stuff for the line", this practice of more frequent package refreshes has been helpful.

Sometimes it's odd choices like Earthrise Arcee, but sometimes it's stuff that makes more sense like tailenders from Siege being slotted into early Earthrise (and more in-demand stuff like Earthrise Op showing up in Kingdom). And now there's a whole bunch of former exclusives, some that were particularly infuriatingly poorly-distributed like Galaxy Shuttle here. They pad out the line AND people get another shot at these. It's win win.

Here's hoping it also lets more people get things like Selects Hound, which they might redo in another deco anyway.
