This looks REALLY good. I wish I could repurpose it as someone else because I already have a Chromia I'm using, but wow, the colors and mold really make each other pop.

That's what I was thinking, too. Generations Chromia is still by far the better Chromia, but this looks different enough to just be a new female Autobot.

The teal and clear red/pink do a lot for it. And also this juuust-lavender-enough blue main color. She'd look so good standing next to Javelin.

Lithonizers?

I really love that these are tangentially connected to Inhumanoids. It lets me imagine this whole universe where the TFs crashed down into the Hollow Earth rather than on the surface and now they're rock bots that fight Cthulhu monsters.

-ZacWilliam, Shard also makes me think of Cobra-La for some reason. I'm surprised no ones ever connected Cobra-La to the Inhumanoids hollow earth actually...

I've already got a perfectly serviceable Chromia, but I would still buy that one. Looks really cool.

That said, there's a lot of paint in the background of that shot, so I'll wait to make sure it's not a custom.
It's legit. JTPrime17 clarified that it's real.

The leaker posed it in front of those paints to screw with people. The blue on the figure is the base plastic color rather than paint.

The pastel wheels made me think unpainted prototype they may have just slapped a new head on and did some touch ups. Obviously not true if JTPrime vouched for it, but that was my thinking going in.

TF toys are far too expensive nowadays at this point for random heads glued on a body that doesn't really resemble them. Easy pass.

Don't really care for the rock copter either, wish that neat transformation had been used on a more traditional design.

I don't know if I can justify to myself that this is worth it. In Japan, this will be close to ¥36,859.28!

Also, I think they said it was for people who "always wanted the originals but couldn't afford them" and then they released an even more expensive version of the original. Why didn't they either re-release the originals or make a smaller version of both characters for much less? I think a smaller version would make them for in more with the existing Legacy figures too.

Perhaps Hasbro foresaw this with the relatively low backer target of 10,000 backers?
Leaving aside your idea of smaller versions (I can hear the cries of "Blasphemy!" among those who keep asking for bigger and bigger figures), are you aware that Encore re-issues of the original RiD/CR toys came out only a few years ago, and between them didn't cost much less (and in at least some cases, MORE) than the HasLab?

Same exact thoughts. Wonder if we get an Armada Jetfire if the head will be resued? Guess it depends on scale.
I can't see Armada Jetfire being any size class lower than a Leader, in order to incorporate his pants mode.
