He's much better than expected. A lot of the hate got was overblown.

I think I voted for Megatronus, '86 Megatron, and the Target 4-pack. I honestly can't remember for sure though. As much as I've been really liking a lot of the stuff we're getting, it kinda caught me by surprise how nothing for this year has really stood out as being clearly a best-of-the-year type of toy.

Had I a few more votes, I'd have thrown some to the retro line as I think they're all brilliant and Alchemist Prime. He's such an amazing figure. I really love the deluxe AotP line. They're great.

I'd say Megatronus is toy of the year for me. He's big and bulky and substantial in a way Leader class figures haven't been in years.

If cutting a toyline down from three to two years spreads a hypothetical third year of budget across the two to bump stuff up a bit more? Let's just do that. 'cause Megatronus reminds me of days of yore.
