Well, this certainly flew under the radar.
Back in June 2024, Greg Weisman participated in the following interview on YouTube in which it was casually mentioned multiple times over and over throughout the video that he had spent six months doing work for Nickelodeon on the Transformers: EarthSpark cartoon.
At the time this interview came out, Season 2 had recently premiered on Paramount+, so it wouldn't have been those episodes he had worked on. But the thing is, looking over the credits for the "Season 3" (or "Season 2 Part 2") episodes released later that October reveals no sign of Weisman's name anywhere, yet he insists that he worked on the show.
A reminder that Season 1 was three batches of 26 episodes total, while the "Season 2" and "Season 3" batches have so far only totaled to 18 episodes. It's been speculated that there ought to be another batch coming, and/or a couple of specials that were previously mentioned in a Hasbro report (and which Nick Roche possibly alluded to on Twitter). Could Weisman's statements in this interview that he worked on the show be sign that at least something more is still coming to finish off this show more properly? Here's hoping.

Again, on the Allsparkle side of things, Hasbro canceled a show (and a series of specials) so abruptly that the canceled season actually started airing. Any episodes that were 100% finished came out, introducing a number of plot threads, and then it all just unceremoniously stopped. Some of the canceled episodes were very far along. A few were almost entirely finished. But when the order came to stop, it just stopped. No change of plans to wrap things up in a hurry. All work just stopped.
I believe Earthspark met the same fate for the same reasons. Even if more work was done that we haven't seen yet, it's dead. Hasbro's moving on. Cyberworld comes out in a month.

This is really more of a "only so many hours in the day, so many things to watch, not getting any younger" kind of deal.
Point of note: I hate when things get left on unresolved cliffhangers, so I don't know that I'd be in a better place than where I'm at now if that's what I have to look forward to.

Actually the last spot of Earthspark to air ties up the story pretty well. There's the dangling thread of the Decepticons escaping to Cybertron but the main Quintesson plot of the season is tied up in the last episodes to air pretty climactically.
They are honestly some of the better episodes of Season 2. As close as it got to the level of Season 1.
I recommend them as "OK."

Is it wrong for me to hope that there are some unaired episodes? Weisman's brilliant, and it'd be a shame if any contribution he made to this show was thrown out.
So I went to my local mall again for some father day chocolates and stopped by the local winners again.
They had warrior grimlock and bumblebee for 10 a piece. I'm looking out for megatron, hashtag and jawbreaker, and while I never wanted to collect the earthspark line, I would be exceedingly happy for getting the ones I did at 3 for the price of 1.

Did my winners loop again today. Mom managed to find new lamps (finally.) for the living room and her bedroom. And I managed to get megatron, shockwave and jawbreaker.
