Filmation is a weird one because their cheapness wound up presenting in ways unique to them. Like how they refused to ever outsource animation overseas, which you think they'd be all over to save a buck but they wanted to keep paying the American wages. Or how it turned out Lou Scheimer considered smear frames the same thing as animation errors and demanded any show they made not have any, resulting in that infamously weightless style you think of when you remember their shows.
Yeah, but there's a difference between Hanna Barbera's cheap and Filmation's cheap. The former spammed us with cheap.
Yeah, they got the actual trek cast for the crew, but the only GOOD voice actors were ones they used for the aliens which weren't on the live action show.
They almost did, though. They originally only wanted Shatner, Nimoy, Kelley, Doohan, and Barrett.
And they apparently ran out of money for Koenig. But they had him write an episode!
Anyway, I forgot the point I was trying to make, but believe me when I say it probably wasn't worth it.
That's okay steadfast, worthless or not we wanted to hear it.
But Nimoy, good and decent human being that he was, stood up for Nichelle Nichols and George Takei. Shatner's gonna get swipes taken at him long after he passes, but Nimoy? I've never heard a negative word about him, and I doubt I ever will.

And Nichols when they needed a female voice.
Wasn't it Barrett, though?
Depended on the episode. Barrett and Nichols both did female alien voices here and there, and Doohan wasn't the exclusive provider of male alien voices. If I remember right, one episode had David Gerrold voice an alien. And that's ignoring occasions where they got actors from the original series to reprise their roles. Mark Lenard, Stanley Adams and Roger C. Carmel all reprised Sarek, Cyrano Jones and Harry Mudd...and thanks to the Kevin Bacon principle, I'm back on topic!

Mysterious Prime and Automutt Pics
TFW2005 has pics of the Scooby Doo collab.
I don't hate it. The Mystery Machine looks right, Scooby-bot is no less derpy than the last couple of Ravages, it comes with flashlight and camera accessories, and both the Fred and Shaggy heads look like they will fit well. Unless the price is ridiculously prohibitive, I'll be buying this first chance I get.
Bonus: looks like the way the heads work, I could leave the heads off and mimic a G1 toy Ironhide robot mode...
EDIT: also, who had "ascot" on their bingo card for Transformers accessories this year?

That is a SMALL head.
That is my main complaint, too. If you're gonna make the head detach, then you can make it as large as you need to to make it look good. These are all just a bit smaller than they really need to be. BUT! They all appear to be standard Titan Master attachment points, so that adds a lot of play value both putting different heads on Mysterious Prime and/or putting a Scooby-gang head on any standard 'bots.
