Speaking of the Mystery Machine, nune at TFW2005 has come through again with a description of Mysterious Prime and Automutt

Mysterious Prime and Automutt:
“The Scooby Doo collab figures are named Mysterious Prime and Automutt.

* Mysterious Prime converts between robot and a Mystery Machine-inspired van.
* Automutt converts between a Scooby-Doo robot and a Scooby Snacks box.
* Includes 4 swappable heads and additional accessories.”

The description honestly surprised me. The ninja turtles all have about the same build, while some sources show them in different colors or the like many times the only way to tell them apart is headband color and belt letter. The cast of Scooby Doo look nothing like each other, even just the human ones.
This has got me a little puzzled, as well. The Scooby gang is quite a variety of builds, so one robot trying to be all 4 seems a little over-optimistic. Unless the 4 heads are different expressions of the same head, which would be awesome.

Also, the "Mystery Machine-inspired" bit does not exactly build confidence that it's going to look the way I would like. Gotta see it first, though. It may prove to exceed all my expectations.

I prefer four heads that are all basically the same head but with different facial expressions rather than four different heads that look like four different characters myself. Seriously, a Scooby-Doo themed collab? If you're going to have the head resemble any character, but pack in a second toy as Scooby himself, I'd want it to be Shaggy.

Exactly. If there is going to be a separate Scooby robot, the only correct choice is a corresponding Shaggy-bot. Doing the whole gang only makes sense if they're all separate unique robots. Which would be neat if they were committed to make 4 separate variants of the Mystery Machine, but I'm not sure the concept really warrants that.

What if they retool the arms and legs to make them extend and contract to different lengths to create customizable body proportions for the figure?

Maybe it'll be heads with different cockpits for them as drivers or something.
Have we had piloted mechs as part of these Collaborative lines before?

This would likely be a first, just as we hadn't gotten electronics in the line before Agent Knight or changeable identities before Party Wallop. I'm just trying to make sense of this.

On that note, maybe it is just masks because "Mysterious Prime". Like it's obvious he's not really THEM, but the masks cover up the face so it's not clear what he really looks like. It could just be not that deep.

The four heads could be the heads of classic monsters that the Scooby gang encountered, like Frankenstein, Dracula, the Mummy, and the Black Knight.

Then again, it might be weird to have the bad guys turn into the good guys' vehicle.

I'm just hoping "mystery machine-inspired" doesn't mean "we retooled Party Wallop" and the heads are a weird vestigial thing from that.

I don't think that's gonna be the case, but the thought did occur to me.
