Maybe he's just a Robotech fan, in the Roy x Minmei fanfc camp...

Though the idea of Cybertronian civilians on a Wrestling-style showboating racing circuit now has my attention. Explains the lack of factions, the gaudy licenced alt-modes, the mixed corporate sponsorships, everything. Hasbro and Mattel are probably still arguing about who'll take the 'championship' this season while the arch-enemy racers are all sitting in the break room rehearsing the scripts and wondering why there are so many blasted endings, can't the boss just PICK one...?

You know, they really should have made the engines and exhaust pipes chrome instead of that grey.
I'm going to paint them silver and also paint the "holes" in the alloy rims black I might paint a "redline" around the wheels if I'm feeling adventurous and I'm also going to paint the rims silver for Boneshaker too.

Well, if these ever come to Japan, that is.

Press materials went out for the Hot Wheels Collabs:
Preorders on Saturday, 5pm EST, Each will retail for $30.

Frankly, the “premium” is pretty dang modest here. 5” is a bit on the short side for a deluxe, but a $5 premium over Generations Deluxe is practically a steal these days. I think there is even a valid argument that these are more interesting than a LOT of the Generations Deluxe we’ve gotten as of late.

At that price, these are even more tempting.

I haven't had a chance to get a good look-- who has the clear plastic ball joints and where?

If you're referring to the joke I made, it was about the original RID Autobots. I don't know if the Hot Wheels guys have clear joints? I hope not.

Also, for completionists, in theory any Volkswagen Bumblebee and truck Prime are Hot Wheels Transformers too and so is Tracks.

Just throwing this out there, but in typical Hot Wheels fashion, will these have running color changes like the regular Hot Wheels do?

Masters of the Universe has a collab coming with Transformers, where MOTU characters are wearing the skins of Transformers!

I’ll again say…the grid style packaging is sharp and we REALLY need that to return for core brand offerings.

this feels like the least interesting way to do this. with Turtles and Thundercats we got the properties actually interacting, while here its just them cosplaying as transformers.

I'm hoping we can somehow get a Transformer that turns into a vehicle from MotU. Bonus points if it's scaled to work with a MotU figure. Collabs can go both ways, as Hot Wheels has shown.

Mind you, the GI-Joe crossover figures haven't been great...

Personally, I wouldn't mind a pretender Catilla figure, slightly pre-molded as Battlecat, with a pretender Grimlock (or that one with the moustache and bare chest) riding him as He-Man. These would be new molds, of course. Maybe have a new, pre-molded Bludgeon as Skeletor?

This would be the most interesting thing. Kingdom Tigatron as Battle Cat is probably an easy heavy partial, but they have great vehicles they can do too.

My gut reaction was "why not Brawn as Man-At-Arms armor?" but then I realized... That's just Man-At-Arms again.
