Absolutely love this one. I've been looking forward to Mark's post on this so we could get a good look at him (Amalgamous, not Mark.) This looks to be one of the most fun new toys in a while.

I hope this can combine with something else to form a more traditional robot mode. Not because there's anything wrong with the funky robot mode this thing has. There's absolutely not. I love it more the longer I look at it. But I'm getting such strong super robot vibes from the concept and the individual vehicles (especially the feet turning into a tank; that's very common with super robots) that I want to go all the way with it.

If not, I'll buy this anyway. It looks so much fun.

You might be able to finagle a more traditional upright humanoid robot mode out of it if you buy and combine two of him. Or three.

I kind of wish he was in bright primary colors. The “obviously a body part” vehicle modes really are a hallmark of super robots.

In general I kind of want the Primes to get same-character recolors maybe with alternate heads. Their strong individual theming but next to no fictional appearances really lends them well to it.

I so seldom get figures above voyager (and very few voyagers at that.) that I forget how big the leader class is...

This almost looks like a Hasbro retail take on the new Diaclone stuff. Insanely cool.
