Damn it. Evan and Nate all but confirmed that a new Monstructor will be coming, but he's just going to be a non-dinosaur retool of Dinoking. So he's going to again be a dinky little guy who can't really interact with the other big bots like he does in all his fictional appearances.

Now I'm just that much more disappointed I wasn't able to get the FansProject version back before the price exploded.

They still (presumably) have the Monstructor heads for CW Abominus too.

That would at least be more in-scale.

Having a small Monstructor is great for folks like me that are nostalgic for the toy scaling, and the base molds are already there (with the combiner part remolds) so it would be a crime not to use them. They could still do a full sized one later :) I'm sure an Abominus redo is on their radar.

I would love to see that CW-based Monstructor happen. It would probably end up leaving out Birdbrain, but I'd still take that over having him be tiny again.

I hope the current run of combiners continues that long. They already indicated Defensor and Predaking are on their radar. If they continue doing one a year, and they move on after those two to the last combiners fratured in the Sunbow cartoon, that would mean finishing Computron and Abominus in 2030, and other combiners coming after that. That's a long time to wait and still keep one common design direction.

Maybe this is why they are asking about Season 1/2 Characters in SS, maybe put Defensor out there since he was in Season 2. That could get two out in a year then.

You say this like it's a bad thing but it's been 4 hours and I need a doctor.

TINY MONSTRUCTOR HERE WE GO! This is exactly what I wanted.

I've been on Vacation this week and missed a bunch of stuff online. What did they say about Monstructor exactly?

-ZacWilliam, how definitive an "yes" was it and any hint of when?

It was mentioned by a fan question iirc, and they said "maybe" they'll do it (while smirking), acknowledged the base molds already exist, and with a reassurance that if they do it, they won't be dinosaurs. I choose to interpret this as if they do it, they will be heavily remolding the core Dinoking set for it.

Yeah, I finally got a chance to watch the stream, and it was basically a "maybeeeeee" while holding a finished Monstructor behind their backs. Like, they're not allowed to say "yes it's coming," but... yes. It's coming.

Yeah to me it sounds like its one of the exclusives they have planned but couldnt actually talk about in this stream that it felt like they mentioned at the start of the stream ("This stream is just Studio Series stuff, no Exclusives" or whatever.)

I would love a mini-Monstructor. Except for Dinoking I was able to use a Safari LTD armored T-rex for an 'alternate' mount for Goryu, I have no idea how I'd add to the Monsters. I guess I'll wait to see what they come up with and go from there. I'm mainly enthusiastic about it as Dinoking (the only version of the mold I have) is, once I figured out the shoulder-torso assembly issues, is one of the most stable combiners I've ever had, even though most connections are just 5mm pegs. I hope the remold/reuse doesn't mess that up. Peg tolerances are a known issue.

I'll give them to Deathsaurus so he can look even more like an ork runtherd leading his mini-army,

Even if it does come out, there's a chance it'll be an exclusive that sells out rapidly or something. Or goes to Walmart and most stores never stock it in the first place.
