So I finally opened nexus prime.
And he's a good figure: great range of motion, no overt or obvious weak and breakable bits. Good colour scheme, Good detailing, and while the plane mode is a literal brick, there's no reason that an alien machine would follow aerodynamics. And considering what he was made to do, it's an obvious compromise.
But his styling is absolutely the MOST generic you could ask for. I called it ages ago when we first saw it. He is John Transformers. It works though. Fun figure, poses pretty well, and good balance.
