I like the tan on Universe Nemesis. It wouldn't be a proper Universe toy if they didn't do something weird with the deco.

Personally I think the tan works well on him. He still has the Black. grey, silver and teal of RiD Scourge, but the Tan with this mold just adds something that makes him a bit more unique.

The tan stuck around for a bit via Armada Nemesis, but thankfully got dumped after that. I don't even think it shows up on the new AotP Armada Nemesis they released.
Not since that one seems to be more heavily based on the show.

I remember at the time getting a Nemesis and doing a parts swap with a regular Optimus, which ended up with a mostly-unified look (there were a couple of parts I couldn't simply remove and swap); I then sold off the Op that now had random tan bits (sadly, I don't think I kept the Over-Run). I've since managed to get another Nemesis, but I'm mulling a re-transplant as the plastic on the second one is getting up there in terms of brittleness, and so might the plastic on the original (which is in storage).

Nemesis is the only version of the mammoth mold I have. I keep contemplating selling, it, but it's also the only Transformer I've ever seen with my hair color.

For Bruticus, I expected through the medical mess to have to give up, but I'm now just a Swindle and Onslaught away! I also plan to add a mini-Shockwave and Viper gun set. I did find the new Shockwave for a shoulder gun, too. I'm not to worried about the colors, since the styling (four back gun barrels instead of two, wrist-blasters from Blast-off) make me think of it as an updated version rather than an attempt at the cartoon.

I like the idea of Mammoth Nemesis Prime, but I really don't like the tan. Also, I'm guessing that due to a combination of cost cutting and family-friendliness, they probably won't tip the tusks with red.
The fun part is adding it yourself!

*stabs something fleshy with the tusks*

That's the new crossover, with WH40K. They just do a Nemesis Prime recolor of the new Big Convoy mold, with a blurb on the side saying that NP's tusks are faster.

I like the tan specifically on Universe 1.0 Nemesis Prime. Something about the tan in combination with the bloody tusks and the mammoth alt mode just add to the visceral feeling.
I don't like how it worked when transferred to the Armada toy though... it didn't work once you gave Nemesis a truck alt mode IMO.

I like the tan on Universe Nemesis Prime. Especially now when I think the tan is just (clone) Optimus' original white like modern white plastic yellowing, mirroring the corruption of Optimus clone. Dirty and unnatural.

And then Takara tried their own take on that deco in Superlink by replacing the tan with gold on Grand Scourge.

I was actually a tad disappointed that Kingdom/Buzzworthy Nemesis Primal didn't have any tan. That might've gone well with the black/charcoal and purple.
