Okay, so I love bats... but if you make a titan scale nightscream: I will beat you.
Your right, as a fellow bat lover: he shouldn't be any bigger then Commander Class.
Nightscream likes extra ketchup.
It'd never happen, for a host of reasons, but a Beast Machines line where the Maximals are like deluxes or smaller and the Vehicons take up the larger size classes would be cool.
It was actually a joke on the original BM line, where for some reason Nightscream and Jetstorm were given huge figures with electronic lights, projectiles, so-called 'third' modes (Jetstorm hover-bot, and Nightscream turned into some sort of swingset crawler thing), etc. I figured nowadays to keep the insanity you'd have to up the size class to get the features in.
If I remember right: cheetor got one of the big ones too.
I want to say Supreme Cheetor was marketed as one of the largest/tallest TFs up to that point.
How he compared against OG Metroplex and Fort Max (and others) I dunno, but "one of the" can do some heavy lifting.
He was also terrible.
I still swear my local TRU still had one floating around right until the day they closed. The building's a market now, but I half expect to see Cheetor on top of a shelf somewhere every time I go in.

I saw two in a comic shop a few years ago. I didn't have the cash for one at the time, and the next time I checked they were both gone.
It took until 2026, but some finally sold!
Supreme Cheetor to this day remains the only Transformer I ever returned to the store. Same day. It just didn't work. Nothing held together, nothing triggered correctly. I actually gave up. I've never had that happen before or since.
I just think he’s really ugly.
It may just be I got a defective one. It was for the time a very complex setup of electronics and spring gimmicks for a Transformer.
Tallest until he falls over, anyway.
Has anyone actually gotten it to stand up long enough to do a size comparison with Fortress Maximus or early Titans?
Armada Unicron was pretty big, too. It'd be nice to have a picture with several of the 'biggest for their time' (and other notable ones, like G1 Devastator, who is less impressive than the media would have you think) together.
Side-by-sides of toys ten or more years apart can be wild.

I still have mine.
I once stood mine next to Armada Unicron but with Cheetor's legs bent digitigrade in order to make him closer to Unicron's eye level, as Cheetor towered over him with his legs fully straightened out.
Armada Unicron isn't remotely the biggest thing in my collection anymore but it still seems big to me. It has presence.
