Generally agree. I could probably live with Dinobot 2 being a voyager. Depthcharge will lose the huge trigger mechanism on his back, probably the disc launching gimmick, and would probably work pretty well as a leader. But Rampage, at leader would lose all of the gimmicks that made it interesting, and if he had tank treads they would probably molded somehow. I think at a commander price they could keep some of the gimmicks, and he can stay leader height to match with Depthcharge. He also has a lot of moving parts in the legs to take up a lot of price budget. Could they end up as another Haslab 2 pack? I hope not.
I'm wondering if it isn't the third modes holding back the transmetals, as someone mentioned earlier, and not the chrome/metallic paint debate, that is holding back these toys at this point.
A haslab depthcharge/rampage would be my first haslab purchase. I would go into hock for that one.
That would be a great set, but I don't think that needs to be a HasLab. Assuming AotP budgets remain, I think both could be kickass Leaders.

Aw, yeah, that's the stuff. I never had Fort Max, so I can never remember/appreciate how big he actually is.
Once again I ask for a subline of Big Guys as mostly Deluxes. Except for the base/playset aspect, few of them *need* to be that big.
I do have that 3-part mini-Fort Max, and it's fantastic.

He actually stands roughly eye to eye with Cybertron Primus, just a couple inches taller than Star Convoy.
I think you're talking about that Kabaya kit, and if so, yeah - that thing is so cool and was fun to put together.
It still hurts that Kabaya stopped when they did.
I also really liked their Overlord for the same reasons. A great mini-version that kept almost all the original features and even manged to wedge in a few nice surprises.
I wonder if their Brave stuff made their best designer quit from stress.
Megatron was kinda rocking the look in DotM.
