Pulse sent word to me that Quintus, Quickstrike and Jalopy were coming, and they have since arrived. I've gotten word about Studio Series Airachnid as well, been charged for her, and she is on her way. No shipping notice for anything else yet.

That is a rough looking wave of deluxes. Powerglide is... how do you mess up Powerglide? Just literally take the ten other Powerglide's you've made and scale them up slightly.

Swerve is probably about the best that could be done from the terrible Gears tooling.

The painted window on Ratchet looks absolutely terrible, the finish just looks awful.

Smokescreen really only looks okay in comparison to the others.

There was an OSKO CW Powerglide that was nice (but sometimes it broke).

(Also, is it me or does the AOTP version's face look like he's wearing a ball-gag?)

Ratchet looks ok but the clip-on wheels look awful...

FWIW, The Blokees Wheels Swerve (now in stock at EE) seemingly features an unpainted version of the My First Blaster, so…

This is true, and it's just a bit smaller and less detailed than that one 3P kit from around T30 -- lacks some of the bulbs etc, and it's only made from the same red and white sprues as Swerve himself, but does have the My First Blaster logo engraved into the side, neat. Haven't been able to dig my T30 Swerve out of storage to get a shot of him holding both.

I need to rewatch Prime and refresh my memory of what Smokescreen actually looks like, but this one does feel like a design the Legion version (which I'm very familiar with) could have been simplified from.

I like Powerglide [...] I'll probably pick him up since I like planes that aren't jets.

Big Convoy and Razorclaw arrived yesterday. What's confusing me is that the shipping notice from Pulse claimed that Amalgamous and Brawl both shipped with them, and they are shown as part of the shipment in my order history. They aren't there, though. I think I'd gotten a notice that Brawl was supposed to be coming, but I hadn't seen anything about Amalgamous before the shipping notice.

Anyone else get a notice for those two? And if so, did you actually receive them?

So, this is embarrassing... I submitted a ticket to Pulse about the missing items. They asked for some pictures of the shipping box, so I went to grab it and set aside all the packing material. And there were Amalgamous and Brawl, wrapped up on one edge of the box. They were so small relative to this box sized for the two Leaders that I didn't even notice them there. ‍

Smokescreen looks cool. I know he was the "eager young character" stand-in for Hot Rod/Hot Shot (maybe even Cheetor?), but I've never had any attachment to his character. When I look at that figure, all I think about is who he could be w/ paint and/or stickers.

I got charged 200 bucks from Pulse, but I've not heard nor seen a goddamn thing from them as far as what may be arriving or when. I'm actually a bit put out over it. Like, that's a chunk of money to just take without any sort of notification.

I kind of had something similar happen but with Amazon, I pre-ordered a bunch of stuff and that includes the latest volume of One piece manga, as I wasn't paying attention to the e-mails properly, I found they had dispatched TWO copies of the same book and charged me twice despite the fact that I only ordered a single copy, I now sent that extra copy back and should be getting a refund on that, but it just ticked me off as they decided to charge me twice when I only wanted a single copy of the book

I've gotten notice that Amalgamous, Razorclaw and Big Convoy are on their merry way. I won't see them before Christmas, but I hope to see them before the new year.

This reminds me that, to this day, I remain surprised that Japan has never given another animal-themed Convoy character the name "Wild Convoy".

Not even in the recent Wild King series.

So last year was the Trypticon reissue, could we see a Thrilling 30 Metroplex reissue or a new g1 Metroplex? I hope so...

I, too, found AotP wave 3 at my local Walmart. Kind of feels like there's some "rushing" going on, maybe to avoid Trump's Schrodinger's Tariffs, maybe to free up shipping for the Star Wars and Spider-Man toys that will anchor the toy aisle this summer.

This probably means we won't see any new Leaders until next summer

I went ahead on Big Convoy while he's still less than $60. I'm going to roll my chances on Razorclaw, see if he gets a price cut later on.

If we get a new G1 Metroplex, I hope Hasbro also gives us a Metrotitan. Hell, I'd settle for a redeco of Thrilling 30 Metroplex as Metrotitan.

'Twas a different Hasbro team at the time. Titan class reissues on Hasbro's side didn't first begin until the post-Aaron Archer era.

Meanwhile, Takara did reissue that Metroplex in Legends. Folks just didn't buy it.
