tl;dr Attorneys have placed a lawsuit due to not being able to reach clients of theirs in the camp, as well as other restrictions, and additionally those in it are being pressured to "self-deport".
Bet all those armed forces folk on military bases outside the country will love this one. At least there's plenty of time for a lawsuit to block and deal with it before midterms.
So much for being the party of "state's rights". Constitution gives the states the bulk of authority over elections, not the president....

looks like Texas is illegally detaining at least one of the dems because they are refusing to be escorted by the DPS to make sure the dems dont run again.
But they got promises from a few other states to counteract it.

While this is just another egregious over reach by trump and his regime: I have a hard time caring about john bolton.
I don't have a hard time caring about John Bolton. He doesn't agree with me about a lot of things, but he has been a tireless worker. He was a part of the Trump containment system in the first term and has been as open as possible about it since then. I hope the drumbeat of this stuff is eventually enough to rouse the Republican old guard.
