Watching the conclusion of Doctor Stone, its a good series, thou my only complaint would be that the cast barely aged in looks and the series pretty much has its narrative take place over 10 years, while I'm happy to see the ending of the show, I'm also a little sad as its now concluded and I doubt there will ever be another story so focused around the actual science of many things we take for granted today

Jarred Alfredo always has too much cream, which dilutes the flavor of anything. I like it with no cream at all.

I don't mind the cream, but the jarred stuff just tastes wrong. I'm even ok w/ Velveeta and other cheeses that don't need refrigeration if I have to.

wonko the sane?

You may test that assumption at your convinience.

So hey! I have a migraine. And I'm happy about it.

Normally, my migraines are debilitating. Balance is shot, light sensitivity is shot, nauseous to the point of vomiting, and of course: the pain. Can't eat, can't function, can't think, and I have to be doped out of my mind just to cope.

I've had a very mild head ache, ringing in my ears, some visual artefacts, and very mild nausea all day. It hasn't left me bed ridden, it's been annoying. And since I wasn't putting it all together and realizing what was happening: I have taken exactly ZERO medication for it. I will HAPPILY take this kind of migraine for the rest of my miserable hugging life, thank you very much.

Good idea. I'm going to watch Jaws tomorrow.

I actually never thought of it as a seasonal movie, because it's always summer here. I just watched it every time it was on TV, and sometimes when it wasn't on TV. It never gets old.

I meant more because part of it is set around the 4th of July weekend, and the New Jersey shark attacks that Jaws was based on started in the first week of July. And, yeah, it's kind of the original Summer Blockbuster movie. But it is good in any season!
I don't care that the shark looks "fake", the scenes where it takes the guy from the rowboat from just under the water are terrifying!

Real great whites aren't all that real looking anyway. Lifeless eyes and all.

It's so good that I didn't even have nightmares. I was pretty little when I saw it, and it hit very close to home for a Florida kid who loved the beach, but it's just so good that I was too busy thinking "Is it me or is this good?" to be properly scared. The quality was so aggressively palpable. I was in awe of it.

'Tis the season, so I just finished watching "Jaws", and am following it up with the (spiritual) sequel, "Tremors". Won't be able to go in the water OR on the ground for a while...

Two classics, though I'm more partial to the latter than the former. Stronger franchise overall.

I walked into a hobby shop on Saturday morning and asked if anyone knew who had the yellow Bumblebee camaro outside. I wanted to take some pics, but didn't want to be creepy. No one inside knew, and one guy said that if someone had gone to all that work with their car, they fully expected people to take pics.

I know, the autobot hub is upside-down but when it's already parked you take what you can get.jpg

Seems like if they're going to put pics like this in their window, though, they need to be able to back it up:
