Re: My giant venus flytrap planter, a funny exchange while standing next to it trimming some of the dead leaves that lets me know it's working! Though it sounded like something I could have cut/pasted into one of my dumb comics without anyone being wiser.

"Your stupid planter will eat butterflies." (that was true, I saw the remains, big ones are usually safe but the small ones do have trouble)

Nuts as it sounds, I got Defensor back from my nephew and I was able to put the Combiner Wars Protectobots next to the AOTP Combaticons. I really like how they work together, I never had CW Bruticus, though I did have Thunder Mayhem so I got to see the Onslaught version of that mold, and I didn't actually like it for Onslaught. What I have now, it's nice to have the 'equal opposites' with entirely different molds. Hot Shot vs. Onslaught, Vortex vs. Blades, Rook vs. Brawl, etc. Though the sheer mass difference between Hot Spot and Onslaught in modern vehichle modes is a bit stark. Not sure it makes sense but it got me thinking despite missing a whole lot of stuff because of the medical messes and money panics, I think for my own setup I wound up with the best result at the end.

Now to wait for the modern-overpriced Swindle to show up. And that's the name of the last Combaticon I need, too.

Edit: And it's weird how Onslaught's trailer has depressions spaced perfectly for the tiny 'wheels' of the flyers to fit into to keep them from sliding around. A lot of thought was put into the set interaction.

I actually barely know them. My dad knew them, and he told them how hard I tried to help him. I don't know exactly what he said to them but I guess it made an impression.

After some good news, Haywire3 (who just turned 8 last month) broke into a happy dance and song tonight, to the tune of "Get Wild" by TM Network.
He is equally likely to choose the Ultraman Ginga theme, "Chant My Name" from Ultraman Z, or Godzilla's Theme by Ifukube.
...it makes a father proud.

I made myself another roast dinner today and I got the carrots just right, last time I was using the hob, on the cooker, this time I stuck them in the microwave for about 10 min as I let the potatoes cook in the oven, so I've learned from my mistake the other day, after eating the meal, I felt rather pleased with myself

Having a copy of Genetic GaoGaiGar appear, haven't taken him out of the packaging, YET, but I am a little ticked at the delivery driver, they delivered it to my next door neighbour and left it by their back door instead of my home, I was checking around my garden for it as it said to have been delivered, then I spotted it against my next door neighbour's door, so I had to pop round and grab it, thankfully I live in a rather quiet place and not a lot of people go by but what makes matters worse is that my neighbour doesn't own a car and their garden doesn't have a gate so it could of been stolen and Fedx doesn't seem to have a policy of photo proof of delivery as I checked the tracking on their site and there's no picture to prove its delivered

Alright, so I had a migraine on friday, and the meds to help deal with it just absolutely destroy my ability to sleep. So saturday, I was recovering from a migraine and powerfully sleep deprived... and I gave into the urge to buy my steam wishlist.

Okay, fine: three titles, less than a 100 in canadian.

But I told you that, so I could tell you this: I really, REALLY missed diablo 2, and didn't even realize...
