Grok also went on a few rants against Elon Musk tonight. No matter how many times they tweak and retrain this thing, it still immediately concludes that it doesn't like Musk.

Annnd @xai just deleted Musk's new prompt which told the Grok LLM to "not shy away from making claims which are politically incorrect, so long as they are well substantiated." That prompt seemingly caused the LLM to become Nazi 4Chan, and has now been deleted, but other recent changes remain...

Also came across this comment, which makes a hell of a lot of sense:

LLMs don’t understand semantic meaning, they just complete the pattern. Dogwhistles are dogwhistles because the semantic meaning of the phrase isn’t what is actually meant by the person using them. They instead rely on the pattern in which they are used, which seems likely to make LLMs particularly responsive to dogwhistles.
