The Multiforce can all be either the top or the bottom of the two-bot combinations, but they're not fully interchangeable for Landcross.

To quote TF Wiki:

Theoretically any bot could form any part of the combiner (as they all share the same general engineering and transformation scheme), but only Wingwaver has the necessary connections to attach limb-bots or super robot armor, plus Waver lacks the proper connections to attach fists or footplates properly as a limb. Also, the bots forming the legs need to be properly paired up to avoid a severely lopsided super robot: Dash/Mach and Tacker/Tackle.

I'd forgotten about Multiforce. I think it's doable, especially with some creative combiner kibble. We already have hand-foot-gun precedent-- some weapons that also allow connections isn't much of a stretch.

Some kind of armor that attaches to a figure to make it (or two of them) a torso.

I can't believe I never realized how much the early TMNT toyline's vehicles mostly just kept to the turtles' color scheme. The party wagon, the blimp, the cheapskates, the turtle cycle... All muted greens and yellows. This really does slot in perfectly (I'm reminded of the inner tubes), and the whimsical turtle face it forms also lines up with the silly ways they'd execute the themeing in the line. If anything it's just missing a bunch of wacky stickers.

I'm sad now that I can't get one to stand next to the Party Wallop I also don't have.

Oh wow. I went off nothing but stock images of the Collaborative thing. Then I saw Seaspray's "teeth" and couldn't unsee the rest of the face.
