AVP did say something about the Tulcas Autobot:
It is true that I was becoming frustrated with the seemingly endless requests for naming of very minor participants in the war. You asked very nicely, though, and I am feeling wistful about the end of our time together, so I will endeavor to answer.

The first being you speak of is called Headcannon. Very literal, is it not? He is a mighty warrior, but he is also a fan of the many plays of Crosscut. He often would write his own "botfiction" about the characters and situations Crosscut would explore.

And even before AVP, Tulcas cameo'd in the BotCon 2014 comic, wherein the creators of that comic were considering giving him the name of "Landfire":

Call me a Geewunner if you will, but I'd love to see a live action movie done that looks like that, complete with robots that look like a realistic take on the Sunbow models.
You're not really gonna get a "Realistic" take on the sunbow models, as they had to be cheated to death to function every time one of them moved.

Oh, I know. I don't mind the attempts from the Bay movies to keep mass consistent between modes and makes joints that look like they actually allow movement, I just always hated the "pile of metal shards" look that they ended up going with. I'd like designs that look as much as possible like the Sunbow models while still looking like they could move without the metal just stretching / bending as need be.

Really the biggest problem with the sunbow cartoons are things like... 99 percent of the autobots chests and legs. Lots and LOTs of clipping there.

Ok, home from work and managed three more. GT didn't have a City Turbo or the right year Corvette but they still work.

And of course, the brothers together (different years to mix it up).

My Autobot garage (with an honorary Gobot and my shaggin wagon thrown in for good measure).

Makes me wish Alternators had commercials with real cars in them.

Here I had been trying to come up with a good example of what kind of aesthetic I was meaning, and Alternators was there the whole time! Some Alternators are definitely more successful than others at turning an accurate car into a robot, but as a baseline style that you can throw millions of dollars of computer animation at, this isn't a bad direction (in my opinion).

One of my faves and one of my least faves . . .

I love the Smokescreen and Silverstreak design.

Meister . . . mine is a mess. I waited what felt like forever to actually pick mine up, and then it was a weak-jointed mess.

Now take them around the track at Dunsfold Aerodrome (if it's in the game), and tell us everyone's time.

I have the Hasbro Shockblast version and never had any trouble with it.
