The jankiness of TF lore: a feature, not a bug

What I'm saying is this...

I doubt the people behind Prime would have gone to a (then) official convention and taken the piss out of their own show.

So I think it's quite fair to treat "rightfully huge" as something of a sincere statement, given that I doubt they'd say it with the intent to mock their own project. Even if it was said jokingly, it seems sincere.

And that seems doubly so when you see how hard Prime as a show tried to achieve a feeling of epicness. I don't think it's unfair to hold that up as an example of what they were hoping to achieve.
I think the problem here is we've been talking at cross purposes? You're talking about "rightfully huge" as sincere enthusiasm as opposed to sarcasm. My actual objection was over "rightfully huge" as sincere enthusiasm as opposed to empty corporate marketing.

While I'm thinking about it, it's really weird that the article Sabrblade linked reports that Bulkhead will have a head, as if that was Real News. The context of that comment was that they were doing a whole gag where supposedly they weren't allowed to tell us who was in the show besides Optimus and Megatron, and could only vaguely allude to the rest of the cast, for instance noting that one of the characters was bulky and had a head.
