So... been a while since I reported about quebec. Seemed kinda pointless, given the larger contexts, but still, I got some maybe big news.
I think the PQ just lost the election in october.
The leader of the PQ, whom has not shut his forsaken whine hole about seperation, just yesterday made it his official position that they will NOT pursue a referendum while trump is in office. They might not even do it until the END of their mandate.
They have literally no other policy, and their record on other policy is abyssal anyway. Now he wants to talk about homelessness, access to mental healthcare and education... all areas which the seperatists routinely gut to fund culture war bullshit. Hell, the rising generation of politicians in the province were in university when marois (PQ.) promised them all to increase funding to education... and slashed it instead. Hell: I lost my job AND a potential career cause of that lying bitch.
The CAQ (to remind: pronounced the same as a cat puking.) is currently hated. They have failed functionally outright, and done nothing that they promised. If we were immediately post covid, their might be some sympathy, but they've had plenty of time to prove themselves again and just failed.
There are no real conservative movement in the province, nor is there a NDP movement.
And the liberals are lead by a text to speech engine in a suit, plagued with bad press from recent scandals, and seemingly incapable of actually communicating in a meaningful way with the masses... will probably get a minority government solely and entirely through separatist disenfranchisement at the hands of a separatist party.
Ladies and gentlemen: tasked failed succesfully.
