Random Thoughts From Out of Nowhere

Heheh...I had an employee named Mark, and I often handed him assignments printed off our company task manager.
Whenever he asked why I didn't have someone else do it, I always told him "It says right at the bottom, Mark Complete!"

I just greet the Marks I know with "Oh hai Mark!" Nobody ever gets it because our country is a cultural cesspool that doesn't recognize the genius of Wiseau.

So, I've seen the DVD/Bluray for Wolf Children several times, but always felt like it was too expensive to buy knowing nothing about it. I finally got it digitally for a price.

But after a non spoiler google search, I have to ask...without spoilers...am I going to cry?

I've never heard of it. Is it obscure or is this a case of me living under a rock again?

My radar isn't always the best at knowing what's obscure or not. I know I used to see it at Best Buy (back when they sold DVD's). But it was like, one of several anime. So I don't know how well known it was.

And yeah, it tears your heart out, in a good way.

Trying hard to avoid spoilers:

It's about a human mother trying to raise two werewolf children. It's funny, it's heartbreaking. And sometimes both at once.

I’ve been watching this haunted house reenactment show recently. It’s alright except a bit on the cheezy side. I get to this episode where there’s some sort of being haunting the family called “Man” and I can’t get the image of earless Michael Keaton running around moving objects and slamming doors at night.

That sounds like my favorite kind of movie.

When I watched it Friday, I was a bit distracted and the ending felt melancholy. I watched it again tonight without the distractions and it ripped my hugging heart out. Like seriously...throat is catching and it's all I can do not to cry. I want to call my mother, tell her I love her...but of course it's late at night here. I just...I don't think I'm going to be able to watch this movie again. It freaking hurts!

Pan's Labyrinth was brutal. I was the first BluRay I ever bought when I first got my PS3. I think I might have seen it three times in total...more because "I bought the movie. I oughta get my money's worth out of it." But yeah, I haven't watched that one lately either.

The YouTube algorithm is convinced that I need therapy. All I did was listen to some music.

My YouTube algorithm is convinced that I want depressing stuff and existential crisis...which...I mean...c'mon! I had one really shitty week. I'm ready to be happy again, please, thank you!

Mine's mostly metal videos and toy/model kit reviews. (The new Perfect Grade Unleashed Nu Gundam looks incredible, but I'm not spending $700 on it.) The downside is it tends to recommend the same videos over and over for whatever reason, so I've had this one stuck in my head for like a week now.

I know that feel. It keeps on throwing "Enter the Behelit" at me personally. On the plus side, it at least does surface new songs by the bands I listen to within a couple days after they're added.

Speaking of....

If you are willing to stand in line to get into a chip shop, the chips must be REALLY good and I did that this evening, visiting a take away that I don't go to offen as its a bit off my normal way home, but I decided to go there today for my evening meal!
