So many of my problems get solved by people knocking on my door asking if I need any work done. Just perfect timing, over and over. The writers realize they've written me into a corner so they just bail me out.

Ever want to send in a screen shot to the comic book editors and say "Hey! Yeah! Remember her, you heartless bastards? She's only the best friend Jubilee ever had, the one who excepted her when she found out Jubilee was a mutant instead of instantly dumping her. You remember every person Logan ever forgot in his back story...oh but Jubilee just doesn't matter to you does she? Just three pages in an issue of Generation X...yeah...that's all Jubilee gets. And CynJen? Maybe the most important person in Jubilee's life that isn't Wolvering. Oh, well, who cares about her, right?

YOU PEOPLE MAKE ME SICK!

Marvel had so little idea of what to do with her after Wolverine got a new teenage mentee that they gave her a baby, turned her into a vampire for a decade or so then cured her. After which she promptly faded into the background since by that point, even the villains were X-Men

Could be worse. She doesn't have nearly as much crap as Spider-Man even accounting for A-lister status and how long his publication history is

So, is there a name or a phrase for someone who (typically) doesn't like musicals, but absolutely loves the soundtracks?

Like, Pirates of Penzance is kind of a lot for one setting, but I could listen to "Modern Major General" all day. Phantom of the Opera is kinda of a snore that takes a lot of liberties from the book, but dang, that girl's got pipes! Greatest Showman I had trouble just staying awake, but dang! Hugh Jackman can really belt one out!

I've hated musicals ever since I went to Shrek the Musical and it didn't have All Star. You have I'm a Believer, there's no excuse.

Film soundtracks are a dying art, so I don't know where else music lovers are supposed to turn.

I was trying to come up with a name for a character, and thought I came up with a perfect one. But it seemed so familiar I could have sworn I saw it somewhere before. I couldn't find any trace of it however, but I finally figured it out. It was a name for a different character of mine I'd totally forgotten about! I'd ended up unintentionally stealing a name from myself.

I say this with full seriousness: games and anime.

Well modern Hollywood is dying slowly and painfully through their own stupidy, so going over to games and anime music is the best solution, espeically anime openning themes, there's a lot of bangers of late as well as some nice chilled relaxing ones that have general feel good vibes, here's a couple of recomendations of mine:

Banger:
The most resent Openning for One piece:

Relaxing feel good:
This one is for a rather chilled anime called Farming life in another world, its a pretty relaxed show surounding farming, while the MC is powerful due to god's will, he not going about conquering or hurting anyone, instead he just trying to surive in a forest that is techinally meant to be extremely dangerous and yet in the centre, he founds a village:

I'm not sure I could name 5 movies I've bothered to see in theaters in the last 5 years.

Godzilla Minus One, Godzilla Minus One Minus Color, Transformers One, The Wild Robot (because i wanted to), The Minecraft Movie (because I am the father of a 7-year old). Bonus: Dogman (a matinee at the oldest continuously running movie theater in the world)(also because 7-year old, but I actually enjoyed it)

I do try to support movie theaters, it's not my fault there's a distinct lack of movies with giant radioactive lizards and/or robots in them...

I wanted to catch the recent Predator in the theater, but I missed my chance.

Before that, I think the last time I went to the movies was either the screening of the first few episodes of the G1 cartoons with the redub of episode 1, or a 4K restoration of The Terminator, which were both back in 2024 (since they were both 40th anniversary things).
