Surprising things from the retro cartoon channel, subsection "you really couldn't make that today": think it was a Harvey Studios, one of their 'tortoise and the hare' shorts from the '50s. Wherein after losing to the turtle again, the hare cartoonishly but unambiguously commits suicide. Pulls a gun out of hammerspace, shoots himself, angel floats off, iris out.

I wonder if there's a lore reason why Power Rangers posing causes explosions.
If they were serious they should have gotten Bay to direct that movie, no matter the cost.

Never actually watched it either. I just half-remember that theory and wasn't sure if it was original or fan-originated.
I pulled an all nighter babysitting an AC that's leaking buckets, and I'm still waiting to find out when an AC guy will be here to look at it. I got a text telling me to call a number that told me to wait for a call from another number that'll tell me when my appointment is. Still waiting.
I have at various times given my 7-year-old son a lot of guff for watching videos of people playing Minecraft on YouTube.
I recently remembered that when I was around his age, I watched shows like "Video Power", "Nick Arcade", "Captain N the Gamemaster", and "The Super Mario Bros Super Show".
From now on, I'm going to have to think twice about giving him guff about Minecraft, before I do it anyway. At least we never had anything like "Lava Chicken" back in my day...

I've been hearing my whole life about how people's attention spans are getting worse and no one has free time anymore but then I click on a seven-hour Twitch VOD on YouTube from less than a day ago and the comment section is already full of people talking about something that happens six hours in and I'm just like HOWWWWWWWWWWW
