Surprising things from the retro cartoon channel, subsection "you really couldn't make that today": think it was a Harvey Studios, one of their 'tortoise and the hare' shorts from the '50s. Wherein after losing to the turtle again, the hare cartoonishly but unambiguously commits suicide. Pulls a gun out of hammerspace, shoots himself, angel floats off, iris out.

Boy howdy. Yeah, you couldn't get away with that today.

Hey at least they're not Macross fans where the odds of having it broken out of the box are 50/50.

A ponderance: we've probably all said "not my circus, not my monkeys" at some point. And unfortunately sometimes it is both your circus and your monkeys.

If that situation were only half true, which would be worse?
- It is your circus, still not your monkeys
- Not your circus, but it is your monkeys

I've actually never heard that phrase. I mean, I can figure what it means and all. I've just never heard it before. When it comes to that situation, I actually go with the title of a Metallica song. "It ain't my bitch!"
