You know, if we ever got an Ultra Magnus that was both cartoon-accurately colored and had a white cab inner robot, we'd end up with a white cab inner robot with the truck bumper on his waist being colored bright red.
I'd love that myself.

I remember when MP Ultra Magnus was first revealed, and half the fandom was like "Why on God's green Earth did Takara paint his front bumper red?!! His bumper isn't red!!! That's stupid!!! Ruined FOREVER!!!"

It's still my gut reaction every time I see it. I know it's right, but it doesn't feel right.
It does raise the question of where the cartoon got that idea from in the first place, since the toy had a silver bumper just like Optimus did, and since Magnus's bumper wasn't even going to be visible in Robot Mode since the cartoon model used the toy's super robot mode instead of the inner cab robot.

I don't know. I made this in 2020. I have no idea what I used for a reference image, but I'm sure I had one.

Strangely the next appearance of teal was from FunPub's Subscription Service.
Ultra Mammoth. They made the mammoth light blue but I swear it's got a greener tint to it compared to the classic Magnus light blue.

I'd say Ultra Mammoth is a very good match for my G1 Ultra Magnus. Doing a google image search, looks like the G1 guy ranges from this teal-ish color to a more blue-bluish color. I don't know if that's just aging/yellowing, but it's certainly what FunPub based Mammoth on.

I don't think it's a case of aging. Digital cameras just weren't great in 2003, so colors were all over the place. And Ultra Magnus never got an Encore or Platinum reissue, so crummy early photos had a long reign.

The Fallen is basically Siege Megatron ProMax+. Basic transformation is roughly the same but it trades the gap in the rear of the tank for some gappiness in the main body. Articulation’s good with the standouts being the opening hands and butterfly shoulders. That said, due to the stocky build and character he doesn’t really seem like the type to do karate poses. He does look really good standing menacingly. Flame effects are okay and have some great paint detailing on them. That said, the shoulder flames are a miss, being pretty loose in robot mode and looking odd in tank mode. Wouldn’t advise leaving them on for extended periods of time too. He comes with a big gun, a gun barrel, a fork and a machete. What a strange loadout.
