I have Stampy and can say that I have never had any GPS issues. I even bought one for my best friend's wife because she loves rabbits.

@Sabrblade, I'm fairly certain that it's just bronzish-gold paint over white plastic; it doesn't appear to be molded gold plastic. If you see him for a decent price, I recommend him; he's a lot of fun.
