(Light)boxing day, eh...
It's been a fairly calm and sobering couple of weeks, with some surprising zen in the midst of the scramble to set up and settle a deal and clear things out. Totally unexpectedly, things actually worked out and I found places that would take (most of) the old customs I made, effectively ending an era. 90% of the stuff from, say, 2017/8 onwards was either sold or donated, and I've reclaimed a little bit of space. Not even storage space, just to move around. Regardless, I definitely needed this change.
While I may still dabble a bit, the vast bulk of the stuff is on to better spaces. The upshot of this is the last few weeks broke down into a timeframe that allowed me to take pictures of them for the clear out, although I'm not really vibing as much as I thought I would with this smartphone camera, whose autofocus settings I realized were working against me a bit
after about 85% of the pics had been taken.)
I'll be posting a pic or two of them now and again, in all their dusty, mid glory.
Luckily, while I had the lightbox out, I managed to get a few pics of more current official toys, so it's not all me soberly memorializing things I literally painted myself into a corner with over almost a decade.
This one's been five years in the making, literally -- got three Deluxes in 2020ish for a good price, but never got around to getting Snarl until December 2025.
(Neither Snarl nor Grimlock are Black Knight versions, because the former didn't have one and the latter is the smaller/better mold with colors that look way better.)
