Is it possible to swap the head with the one from Siege Prowl?
That's what I did. The ER Prowl head is actually based on Bluestreak's head while the Siege Prowl
head is based on Prowl's head proper. I just did a pop and replace on my ER Prowl and not only does it work perfectly, it also gives all three of the Z's their own unique headsculpt.

The ball/socket joints aren't exactly the same size though, so a bit of sanding down may be needed.
I have no idea why HasTak made the neck balljoints ever so slightly different, because it seems like more work for them.
Fortunately it wasn't too tight for me, so it's merely a bit snug but otherwise works just fine. Of course YMMV on individual tolerances.

I think I got it to fit but it was scary tight to even try to turn it. But I do remember also hearing from some that had an easier and some that had a more difficult time, so there's some variation there.

Sanding the neck joint down a bit helps.

Reminds me of when BanDai started doing Dragon Stars, the retail budgeted 1/12 Dragon Ball line. Their first few waves saw two versions of Vegeta, regular Vegeta in his blue and white combat suit, and Super Saiyan Vegeta in his grey and white combat suit.
I picked up both, expecting to be able to swap the heads so I could get regular or Super Saiyan Vegeta in either costume.

lolno

The head ball joints were different sizes. WHY?? The figures are the same base sculpt! They share like... 95% of the tooling! Why would you change up the ball socket for the head? Not only is it utterly baffling as to why they did it on a production level but... like... given how Saiyan powerups mostly involve different hair colours, could BanDai really not foresee that people may want to swap heads?

Just a totally baffling decision for oh so many reasons.

About the Toxitron color schemes - I know these were based on unreleased molds, yadda yadda yadda, but I wonder if the whole Toxitron theme and package color scheme was aimed at the TMNT crowd.
Only in so much as the general 90s kids product aesthetic was heavily influenced by TMNT. They were one of the trendsetters who would define the 90s aesthetic that those unreleased figures were based on, so in a roundabout way, yeah.

Now if you want to see Hasbro intentionally homaging the TMNT in an unrelated line, check out the SDCC Deadpool release.

(Light)boxing day, eh...

It's been a fairly calm and sobering couple of weeks, with some surprising zen in the midst of the scramble to set up and settle a deal and clear things out. Totally unexpectedly, things actually worked out and I found places that would take (most of) the old customs I made, effectively ending an era. 90% of the stuff from, say, 2017/8 onwards was either sold or donated, and I've reclaimed a little bit of space. Not even storage space, just to move around. Regardless, I definitely needed this change.

While I may still dabble a bit, the vast bulk of the stuff is on to better spaces. The upshot of this is the last few weeks broke down into a timeframe that allowed me to take pictures of them for the clear out, although I'm not really vibing as much as I thought I would with this smartphone camera, whose autofocus settings I realized were working against me a bit after about 85% of the pics had been taken.)

I'll be posting a pic or two of them now and again, in all their dusty, mid glory.

Luckily, while I had the lightbox out, I managed to get a few pics of more current official toys, so it's not all me soberly memorializing things I literally painted myself into a corner with over almost a decade.

This one's been five years in the making, literally -- got three Deluxes in 2020ish for a good price, but never got around to getting Snarl until December 2025.

(Neither Snarl nor Grimlock are Black Knight versions, because the former didn't have one and the latter is the smaller/better mold with colors that look way better.)

Didn't realize before now that the screws were on the outside of his arm.
