I had no idea iGear had trouble? I never had any real experience with them except for an autoscout cassette I got as a freebie once.
I knew a few people who got figures of theirs and the reviews were mostly bad.
But the Kup head is solid. Granted it has no moving pieces...
Among all their products, I was only really into their Minibots. I only kept their Cosmos since it was a charming design with a fishbowl space helmet and an old-timey laser gun. He's alright, if kind of out of place nowadays. I remember them pissing people off for suddenly upsizing the Minibot scale though.
They also made F22 Seekers based on the early IDW design with the most concave faces I have ever seen.

iGear quality was reserved for Classics Kup.
Going off topic a bit. I’d had loved to see Energon Starscream remoulded, and without the weak transparent plastic, as a modern Starscream (and other seekers) design. Classics ‘06 was rather conservative with its seeker design, IMO.
Still have the ehobby box set one, and I did get the iGear head for that.

It was dark at the Seeker barracks and Starscream grabbed Thundercracker's boots by mistake.
The asymmetric gloves are just for style points. The leader of the Seekers must be as fabulous as he is deadly.

The Transformers Team did specifically mention Sunstorm as a "we know you want it, it may be coming" repaint of the new SS86 Seeker mold during their Toyfair reveal stream.
