That does seem like good news. I imagine it's going to take a little time for it to gain steam. I suppose the comic publishers may be in the middle of exclusive contracts with Amazon. But, hopefully, it gets given the time it needs to grow and it can eventually fulfill the role Comixology once filled. I can see people jumping onboard, it just depends on actually getting the publishers onboard all over again. Just don't sell it to a mega-corporation this time, okay?
In other news, do you remember that joke I made about how it might be easier to count the number of comic publishers that were still working with Diamond, rather than the ones who had left? Well...someone just did that!
198 comics and related publishers in the direct market ... and exactly who is distributing them across the USA right now

Diamond still has around 150-ish publishers working through them. That's good! But, they're all the ones that you've probably never heard of. And that's bad! At least they still have Archie! (Although, Archie is also getting distributed by Lunar). But, this is a pretty good list, if you're wondering which comic publisher is with which Distribution company, because it's kind of hard to keep track. I imagine this list may become outdated almost immediately, but at least it's a good guide for the moment.
Again, I do hope Diamond is able to turn things around. But, it's not looking promising when even Zenescope abandons you.
