I received word that I'll be receiving my AOTP Quickstrike and Blast Off this week, about 3-4 months ahead of the seller's estimate. That's cool but I was really hoping to receive my Nanmu T-Rex which was originally estimated to arrive December but isn't likely to arrive on schedule.

Man, those alternate faces are kinda haunting when they're not attached, aren't they.

THe lack of helmet makes the nose read as more a nose and exposes more of the cheeks, making them read more distorted human faces than Beast Meg's more or less regular dude but buried in a helmet look.

Just as a toy irrespective of the character, maybe. I think it deserves bonus points for achieving 100% completion. It does everything a Star Convoy needs to do. Maybe that shouldn't be a big deal, but the past few titans set the bar really low. Tidal Wave is so sad.

No rubber treads means the toy will remain intact longer.

I've actually never seen a Star Convoy with broken treads, but they clearly lost that rubber formula at some point.

I still need to get a sheet of reprolabels for my reissue, since the factory sheet has this weird speckling issue over time. But geez, $40 for stickers.

Star Convoy isn’t even all that big of a toy, comparing to the prices of sticker sheets for titan class toys. I guess the demand isn’t quite as high as mass retail toys

It got swapped out with the rubber formula that melts plastic instead. Doesn't matter if it breaks eventually if it destroys what it's on first.

I don't get it. This add on set throws away every single selling point the stock Devastator has to make a combiner with messed up proportions. May buy it if it's cheap for the hammer and gun parts but jeez

The hammer and drill are cool, but nothing else appeals to me.

Is that the Grimlock for their Volcanicus that was announced a while ago and then never came up again?

Grimlock was announced alongside the limb Constructicons and the drill tank when this company first hit the scene. That last image is from the initial image dump since the latest announcement didn’t have any shots of the tank in hammer mode. Last communication from the add on kit announcement indicates Grimlock is still being worked on.
