I agree on that one. Too many cooks, changing priorities, changing builds, changing staff. Plus, having to find some hook that could possibly continue the story after 3. Or, in Andromedas case, dodging the issue entirely.
i remember watching the old video about an ’alpha build’ of a scene from Andromeda that looks graphically far, far superior to what the eventual game ended up as. Story and characters did feel very… odd. And the looks of many characters did not end up great.
