I hate to say it, but this shut-down is EXACTLY what Miller and the Project 2025 people want and the Democrats more than happy to give it to them. P2025 wants to strip the government down and rebuild it in a right-wing image. The longer this shut-down goes on the easier we are making it for them. Can you imagine what it's going to be like in 2-3 months when the government is still shut down, let alone a year from now? This is Miller making things so bad that conflict is inevitable and I don't see how he's going to be stopped.
That doesn't surprise me, to be honest. Paladin off Allspark always seemed very different than Allspark Paladin.
I briefly followed him on social media some time ago and it genuinely felt like night and day to how he acted here.
They need a not insubstantial system in place to control the country. Any infrastructure they leave FOR them can be used AGAINST them. Fundamentally: project 2025 can only fail because entirely too much of the population is against it. All they can, and all they have been doing is pushing back when the failure happens.
And this doomer jive is literally just complying in advance. Doesn't matter how much they destroy, it's just an opportunity to build back better. You need to stop quoting rattrap, and start yelling "hug you, make me.".

Too many doors, not enough tanks. You're falling for their perception of the world: there's only going to be two tanks in this regime. The one on trumps oxygen supply, and the one on his catheter.
Tanks aren't driven by AI yet. They have to have crews for said tanks and maga is starting to piss off a lot of military personnel. There aren't enough loyalists to fuel the military machine.
And even if they mobilized every single soldier, every part timer, every national guard member... there isn't enough man power to invade the entirety of the US. They can only get less than halfway, and there is no where near enough to hold what they take.
There's a reason ice agents are being chased away from "arrests" despite having enough money to be the third best funded army on the planet. They. Are. Losing.
Not only are they losing. They absolutely cannot win.
More to the point: all of it hangs on the life of a dementia patient with organ failure. Once trump is gone, the cult splinters and no one is capable of taking all of it. They were only in it for trump: for reasons I still don't understand, and frankly I hope I never do.
There is a post trump era coming, it's coming faster and sooner than you think.
