I don't trust Newsom, but at least his team is fighting back. More than I can say about a lot of the other Democrats.

The Democrats might as well merge with the Republicans and become its ‘moderate’ wing, for all the good they are doing. Nothing but enablers and cretins and doormats.

There's definitely gonna be a lot of reshuffling after the trump admin ends, assuming the US survives his second term. We've seen some moderate Republicans switch sides while the more progressive wing of the Democratic party has started primarying establishment Democrats. Not sure we'll even have the same parties after this once the dust settles. Now only if we could get some real constitution level reforms.... Get rid of the electoral college and force states to abandon first past the post elections.
