And considering they already make some kind of "throwback" Coke that uses it semi-regularly (I think it's literally just Mexican Coke in a different can, because they still use cane sugar in Mexico), I wouldn't give credit for them deciding "hey, we should do this more often" to Trump or anyone else who just recently called for it.
I'm certainly not giving 47 credit for making anything happen here. I'm just saying Coke sent him wiggly language, and 47 is trying to take credit for something that few people even asked for.

You jest, but this is unironically the best thing he has done as president.
My "even the worst presidents get one" list already had one thing on it from the previous term, but damned if I can remember what it is anymore. Call it an unfortunate (for him) side effect of everything he does being a distraction from everything else.

As a backup, we've still got the penny thing and I probably won't forget that.

Democrats keep attaching Epstein file related amendments to bills, and now the Republicans have shut down the Rules Committee rather than vote on the amendments:

Seems they've stumbled into a way to shut down the Congressional portion of project 2025. Just attach a whole bunch of Epstein related things to any bill you don't want to go anywhere.
Now figure out how to stop the executive order jive.

Bout time they started taking pages from the Republican playbook in the legislature, though I hope that once this mess is behind us they implement laws to shut down said loopholes.

Yea, he essentially said that the government really shouldn't be creating blanket bans on trans people in sports. While I don't really think trans women have an inate advantage over cis women in sports, assuming their hormone levels are in-line with each other, I can see where some would be concerned and Buttigieg is simply saying let the sport organizations make the determination of their rules, not the US or state governments. I'd rather there be SOME government protections in place to prevent discrimination, but we can move to that fight once they stop trying to outlaw my very existence. Heck the whole blow up over the trans in sports thing is because they needed SOMETHING to villainize us for when everything else they tried didn't stick. The only things that were really working at all on the public-at-large was the sports angle and gender care for minors thing.

HE THREW THE TRANS PEOPLE UNDER THE BUS! DON'T YOU NOT READ THINGS!? YOU SHOULD ONLY REACT TO THE HEADLINE! AAAAAAAAAAH! DEMS MUST DIE! LET THE REPUBLICANS RULE EVERYTHING! THAT'LL TEACH THEM!

Ironbite-did I do a good enough Paladin responce?

You know Paladin doesn't respond to things. He won't even come back to defend himself. He'll wait a week, then come back to post a new article.

He's functionally a bot.

At this point he makes me miss Fortress Ironhold. At least FI occasionally talked to us.
