This is in fact one of the arguments they're making for the site. They won't need to spend much on security because the swamp itself would make it effectively inescapable. Our new state attorney general, who is leading the push for this idea, is calling it "Alligator Alcatraz".
Ah, the Camp Green Lake approach.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said Monday the federal government will fund an effort by Florida to set up immigration detention centers, which include a proposed site in the Everglades that state officials have dubbed "Alligator Alcatraz."

Noem said the detention facilities in Florida will be funded "in large part" by the Federal Emergency Management Agency's shelter and services program, an initiative created by Congress to support groups and cities receiving migrants and asylum-seekers released from federal custody along the U.S.-Mexico border.

So not only is this happening, but FEMA funds will be redirected to pay for it.

Our state attorney general plans to have the facility up and running next month.

The Floridians whose homes get destroyed in the next hurricane will be happy knowing that their government is leaving them homeless so that more brown people can be imprisoned.

That wasn't sarcasm.
