So if Void Rivals is out physically why does Amazon have a release date of November 19? And Transformers seems to be delayed 2 weeks from when it was supposed to be released as well.

Yeah, this isn't a new problem. And it's...probably on Amazon's end? But, it's hard to say. It's not just Image, either. Other comic publishers get hit with random digital delays, too, from time to time.

I don't think anyone's said anything officially. But, the problem is could be caused by a few things happening. Purely speculating, mind.

One, Amazon does not consider digital comics a high priority. They probably have a skeleton crew working on that department. So, if anything gets messed up, it tends to get lost in the shuffle.

Two, Image might be sending the files to Amazon late, because they don't want any spoilers leaking out. But, when they do that, Amazon doesn't prioritize processing those files. So, they end up getting delayed.

Three, Image might be trying to help brick and mortar comic shops, by giving them "early access" to the books. I don't think this is intentional. But, it is possible.

So, there's a few things it could be. But, I don't think anyone outside of the publishers and Amazon actually know. Could just be as simple as file formats not quite matching up, for whatever reason. Or just simple human errors, like a intern forgetting to send the right e-mail, or something.

Transformers #26 is out!

This is another solid issue. This one's more of a focus issue on one particular group of characters, specifically, for the most part. We progress a few storylines with them in interesting ways. It's a good issue. I just don't want to spoil too much about it.

So, personally, I say it's worth picking up. Chances are, if you're reading this, you're already picking this one up. But, if you're worried about Kirkman's pacing, I don't think you have too much to worry about. At least not yet. This doesn't look to be as much as a slow burn as Void Rivals used to be. Things definitely happen this issue.

Okay, Thundercracker, calm down. I know the Cobra-La guys are intimidating, but it's been a whole month. Snake-people can't hurt you. Their venomous jaws aren't strong enough to bite through metal.

Thundercracker actually gets to USE a Sonic Boom on panel. This might just be one of the first times we've seen him do that.

Also, it takes 3 Autobots to take down 1 Seeker. No wonder the Autobots have such a hard time.

Kirkman's version of Ultra Magnus is a lot more gruff and militant than DWJ's. I don't mind it. But, it does seem like it's going a predictable route of him trying to take over the Autobots.

Optimus almost instantly defusing the tense situation with his speech is actually kind of a nice moment. He's just THAT charismatic, I guess.

It sounds like Wheeljack already wants to start building Autobot City where Chicago used to be. So, we're already building up to the "Movie", huh? It's actually a pretty good use of all the destruction they caused.

Optimus actually insists that Skywarp is the first one who gets repaired. That's really nice. Naive. But, nice.

Soundwave trying to laugh is...disturbing, honestly.

Meanwhile, at Shadow Watch, Miles Mayhem has a complete scan of a Transformer. I'm sure he won't do anything nefarious with tha...oh, he's already shot someone. Yeah, okay. He's starting up VENOM anytime now. That's why you should always wear a m-m-mask in the office!

Back on Cybertron, Elita is still mad at Optimus! He's going to have to absolutely stuff his entire trailer full of candy and flowers to get her to forgive him, now. Cliffjumpers heading into Decepticon territory to fix the Space Bridge. And...Kup...LIVES!!! In fact, most of the characters we assumed were dead are probably still alive. I mean...with the right parts, that's really not too surprising.

Skywarp gets repaired and the first thing he does is...attack everyone. Because of course he does. Even after being stuffed into the side of a computer, he's still a true believer in the Decepticon cause. But...Thundercracker seems to have had a change of heart. It seems like Thundercracker has actually had a change of heart and is sticking around the Autobots. Huh. Good for him. So, we have one Seeker for the Autobots, one for the Decepticon, and one Starscream pretty much on his own side. I kind of wonder if this is going somewhere?

Meanwhile, the Decepticons are running low on Energon. And Megatron choose NOW of all times to have a aneurysm! Actually, it's probably something to do with the Quintesson Matrix he's got inside of him doing...something? It's unclear what's going on right now. But, it's probably not going to be good for anyone!
