Something Disney related:
Their semi-lost, box office bomb from 1983, "Something Wicked This Way Comes" (based on the Ray Bradbury novel) is now available for streaming. This is probably the easiest way to see the film in decades.

That's wild. Is that the only theatrical film besides Song of the South that never got any sort of home media release? I've never even heard of it.

According to the interwebs, it supposedly DID get a handful of releases over the decades. But given its lack of success and continued obscurity, any media releases were probably smaller runs. The only DVD release was from Anchor Bay in 1999 (before the format was mainstream), who generally does those sort of “cult“ films. The only BluRay was in 2021 in the final months of the Disney Movie Club as an exclusive.
Before the internet, I had never heard of the film either. That whole late 70s-late 80s decade of Disney remains largely obscure and forgotten aside from the animated features and Tron.
